well, first of all I didn't like the bright lights on the keyboard but they are really cool, just a bit blinding.

Let me start off with some of the cons since this has far more pros. Con: The screen looks wider than the 12.5 inch in spec because of the bezel which isn't a great thing because this would add unnecessary extra weight. I have seen on some reviews that the battery will last 6+ hours and this could be true if you dim the screen to a low setting but it becomes difficult to see in a bright room and glossy display. Pro: This is by far one of the fastest and most responsive Windows computer I have ever used. Quick to open programs and other functions. The screen is beautiful and provides very detail pictures. I compared this to a another laptop with a 1080p screen and you can tell the difference. The Chroma keyboard is fantastic that allows you to customize the color and effects very easily. Please note. I haven't played too much with the customization yet but from what I have seen it is very user friendly even for people like me that haven't played with RGB lighting before. The keyboard is very responsive. I like my keyboard on the stiffer side of the spectrum to get that response feel. It has a sturdy body style similar to the 2016 Macbook and better than the previous generations Conclusion: I am coming from a Macbook Pro from 2012 and this is a great replacement for it since I wasn't happy with the I/O options that the new Macbook provided. If I had to compare the price and internal specs. This is almost equivalent to a $2k 2016 13in Macbook Pro but you get the i7 instead of an i5 and 16GB of RAM instead of the 8GB with a lower price tag.

I have been a fan of razer hardware for a very long time and was really excited when I saw the stealth. Pros: The exterior is well-built and the laptop is the best looking ultrabook I've ever seen. The 4k resolution on a 12.5'' screen was stunning and the keyboard felt great when writing long papers. The startup time was very fast, even when compared to my other SSD devices. Cons: It stopped booting after three weeks of very light use (i.e. web-browsing and word processing at my desk). The hard drive was no longer showing up in the bios and, when booting from a win10 repair USB, no hard drive could be found to repair or reinstall the OS. I knew going in that many people had serious issues with their stealth's, so I purchased a geek squad warranty. Unfortunately, they refused to open the laptop and attempt a repair since it is a razer device. Besides this, the geek squad rep was helpful and said they could handle the razer repair paperwork for me, but that it would take several weeks. He was nice enough to help me return it, so I was impressed with the customer service (as usual). I would have kept the laptop if I could have waited a few weeks for repairs.

This PC is a truly amazing unit but for this small of a laptop for such a steep price... razor continues to cater to the rich market and not the middle class.
