I needed something to replace my Macbook Pro 2017 without sacrificing the build quality and design detail. Though I am not what one would call a "gamer", this laptop offered by a gaming focused company hits all the important check marks for a premium laptop. The screen is bright with very minimal light bleed (almost unnoticeable) and the colors appear accurate when I'm editing in Lightroom. Modern ports such as non-proprietary USB C make it easy to charge and connect peripherals. On the topic of charging, I'm experiencing battery life as advertised around 10-13 hours with light use such as web browsing. Around 6 hours during heavy use such as editing and exporting Lightroom catalogs. The laptop stays cool thanks to the vents on the bottom and back and the slightly elevated feet to allow air flow even when in the lap. The keyboard is easy to type with the keys quiet and the perfect key travel for you typers out there. The right shift key took some adjustment as it is about 1/3 the traditional size. The laptop did not come with any bloatware. Free of "free trial" software that can clutter the user experience with a new laptop or desktop. The only pre-installed software was the required Razer Synapse to customize the backlit keyboard to one's preference. While not every laptop is perfect, it is difficult to find something that I am not satisfied with. For the sake of providing one, I do wish the screen brightness went a bit higher for those times working outside.

This laptop has arguably everything you need in an ultrabooks. It has the what I believe to be the sleekest design and the keyboard is very satisfying. Mine has never let me down and am looking into get the razer core x to make it even faster. My friend was also looking into getting a new laptop and convinced him to get one and he loves it.

Outstanding laptop. Well designed and solid. It is very easy to carry around. However for me feels a bit small. Battery life is fine. Screen is the best.

Awesome laptop. The only thing I don't like is where the right shift is positioned.

Felt okay. Overpriced for what it is. Build quality feels lower than Surface Laptop 2. Speakers were also not as good. Display feels outdated with the 16:9 ratio.

Razer products are good but so pricey. I bought this laptop mainly for my college and it was my fiend until nowadays.
