So I got this keyboard to replace a solar Logitech that I had for the past few years..the battery started to go, and I'm sick of constantly needing to find light to charge it since my room is pretty dark throughout the day. I decided to go wired since I've begun gaming more on the PC anyway, so I found this Razer keyboard. It's really nice. Great feel for typing and for gaming, and the software is easy to use. The keyboard itself is pretty loud though so it's taking some time to get used to! However, the LED's are the coolest part and you can have all sorts of animations with them. My only gripe is the darkest level is 33% which makes no sense, and I wish it could go lower, only because when my eyes shift, I guess whatever the frequency of the LED is catches my eye every time. It's very odd. Either way, I just chose an almost black version of the color I wanted which makes it darker than 33%, so that's a quick work around. Either way, it's a great keyboard!

I had been searching for a keyboard with individually programmable RGB keys and could not find one in my price range, until I found this! The Chroma Studio software is excellent. Each key is customizable with any color and effect. It can also have different custom layouts for selected applications. The software provides easy to understand tutorials for each section, and the manual describes each feature well. Very user friendly! I was convinced I would have to spend over a hundred dollars to get what I was looking for, but this only cost me $45 for the keyboard and $5 for the 2 year protection. Razer knows what they are doing and they know it well. Friends and family have recommended them to me and they far surpassed my expectations.

I bought this keyboard because it was the cheapest Razer keyboard I could find and its great. It has different keys than I was used to but now that I'm used to it I type much faster and play games better. The keyboard is compatible with Razer chroma (changing the colors) and macro (press one key then it automatically presses many) with the Synapse app.

The keyboard keys are smooth and responsive to the touch. The was you can customize you lighting is also great and easy to use. The only downside is the software. On some days, it works fine and the LED lights work how it’s suppose to, on other days, it goes back to default on its own. I still haven’t found a fix to this. Even though the lighting is only aesthetics, the keyboard functions really well and does what it’s suppose to do, type/gaming. I currently own Razer products like mouse and headphones that have been going strong for 8 yrs now, I have no doubt this keyboard could last as long and more than that.

The keyboard is very good quality, a comfortable fit to both game and casually type on. The colors are very bright and it has a nice posture for hand eye coordination.

I love this keyboard. Upgraded from a cheap keyboard to this is definitely a stepup. The keys feel nice and not cheap. The membrane keys do feel different from mechanical it may take getting used to. It’s pretty quiet more quiet than a mechanical. I also love the razer app where you can customize the lighting of the keyboard it has effects like fire effects too. Overall good keyboard for the price and the size is perfect not too big or small.

I’ve used mechanical keyboard and membrane keyboard this is by far my favorite razor keyboard. I have the blackwidow also but it’s to loud when recording videos. So this keyboard is perfect for anyone who is tryna game in silence and all around a great RGB keyboard for the price. 1000% recommended it!

I bought it simply for the backlit capability but honestly it’s really smooth to type on, I like the key feel, and it’s actually really stylish. Ended up picking up a Razer mouse to go along side it and everyone compliments my work from home set up now.

This thing lights up in the dark and in the daytime...its so beautiful. slick finger movement and the lights stay on until you turn the computer off...Very powerful!..I love it

Color scheme is vibrant. Works well with the Razer app. Long chord so tower placement shouldn’t be conflicting. Overall the keys will be an upgrade on whatever sub 40 dollar keyboard will give you. Feels good flat and all three positions. Needs to come with stickers!

This gaming keyboard is really good for new beginners who wanna learn . It’s a big easier and the feeling of the key board makes it a bit easy . My lil brother totally recommends it.

I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Absolutely the best keyboard I’ve ever owned. Very cool color display options and completely programmable, so I can easily customize my keys and functions to my liking. With all the options that are easily customizable I dominate game play. This keyboard rocks!

With the amount of conference calls I am on in this day and age, it's so much easier to take notes using the computer than it is to try and write things down, but the headache of muting and unmuting due to a noisy keyboard got to be more of a hassle than it was worth, but after switching to this keyboard, my keystrokes are virtually silent in comparison. Not to mention the fantastic programmable lighting, which is just a joy to experiment with along with the Razer Deathadder I've linked to it. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to add a little color to their workday and also to any gaming they might be doing on the side.

This is a good starter keyboard. RGB lights are very nice.

I used to have a cyberpowerpc keyboard but it’s so great to have a upgrade! I love this keyboard and I hope it lasts me a good time!

Got this for work and light gaming - and it fits the bill nicely. Touch typists will appreciate the key action, and the options offered by Synapse make for a colorful experience. Macros are possible too. Not a true mechanical, so don't expect the feel and clack of one from the membrane switches here. That being said, if you're looking for a silent keyboard, look elsewhere, as this one does produce a nice bit of noise, but without the clack you'd get from a mechanical one. All in all, a nice, affordable gaming keyboard.

It is too bulky for me, I didn't like the feeling of it. I am not using it, stopped using after a week.
