I needed something small and relatively inexpensive for my parents to get me for my birthday. They hate not being able to partake in my life somehow on my birthday or Christmas. I found some reviews online of this, it's a comfortable no-frills mouse that has a higher DPI than my standard Microsoft Intellimouse. It has an extremely long cable which is good if you're PC sits far from your desk, or you just like having the option to have it sit far away. 10/10 would gift again.

This mouse replaced my Logitech wireless gaming mouse, which I started to hate because of the need for constant recharging, and it was also very heavy. This mouse is a lot lighter, and a lot more responsive and accurate. Always there when you need it. It was expensive, but for something that I would be using all the time, I think it is worth it. It's bigger than most mice out there, so be sure to test it out first if it fits your hand. Also, I LOVE THE RUBBER SIDE GRIPS.

Its a great all around mouse. works very well. The mouse is 6400dpi which is great for gaming. however the sensitivity takes some getting use to if you havent had a very sensitive mouse berfore. I have gotten use to it though. Once you get use to it a awesome mouse you will never want to go to anything elso. i have large size hand and the mouse fits perfect its not too big but its not to small. its very comfortable. I use it for mostly gaming but i also use it for photo editing. which its great for, especially with the high DPI. You can really get into small area and edit pictures. it also great for even web searching. Overall it a great mouse for what ever you want to use it for. The only downside i have about it is the price. it is a little on the expansive but you get what you pay for. Its very durable and built to last.

    Fantastic First Gaming Mouse

I used to use a wireless mouse and always wanted to try a gaming mouse since I do game occasionally on the PC. My wireless mouse started to malfunction so I decided to get this mouse since it was on sale. The mouse has a nice size to it so pretty much no matter your hand size, you should be able to use this mouse comfortably. Seems like this mouse is more for the palm grip, but I still use the claw grip just fine. The buttons were a little more sensitive than my wireless mouse, so I had to get used to having lighter fingers as to not accidentally press a button. The scroll wheel is solid. The ergonomics for me are fantastic. My hand fits right on and is super comfortable. The only thing is that this 2013 edition has kind of a rough, sandpaper-like texture to it. Obviously not as rough as a sandpaper would feel but it can be a little weird for some. It took me some time to get used to it. I'm assuming it's supposed to add more grip as apposed to smoother surfaces when gaming. It certainly does that but like I said, some may find it weird and uncomfortable. I would certainly recommend this mouse, especially if it'll be your first gaming mouse. I don't have any experience with any other gaming mice so I can only say that this was a major step up from a wireless one.

Great Mouse for The Competitive Gamer

I play a game called Counter-Strike:Global Offensive, this game requires a VERY good mouse on the account that to be good you need a low DPI or dots per inch setting. This controls how fast your mouse moves with each swipe. Playing at a very low DPI enables you to get very crisp precise movements which is great for aiming a weapon in Counter-Strike. This mouse performs extremely well and has not failed to track or just plain screw up while I've used it. I recommend it extremely and the only mouse I would value above it is the Zowie Fk 1 mouse. The only difference is that the Razer Deathadder is good for palm grip or claw grip users, the Zowie Fk 1 is good for primarily claw grip user because of its ambidextrous style. All in all great mouse.

I have had this mouse over a month and use it with my laptop for gaming. All the buttons are fast click. The mouse has rubber on the sides which make it easy to grip and it feels very ergonomic. I would buy this mouse again and recommend it to friends.

first off i was coming off the mouse that came with my computer, the upgrade was amazing. I had no idea how picky i was with things like dpi and lift height, thus it took me a while to fine tune it to my preference. i have big hands so the two side buttons were more of a hindrance, thankfully they could be remapped or disabled. i highly recommend this if you want a awesome simple mouse.

This is a fantastic and fairly inexpensive mouse. Its a pretty simple design and doesn't have too may buttons. Its highly sensitive and smooth. Its a bit smaller height wise and doesn't have the large ergo curve of my old Logitech MX but still feels comfortable in my large hands. While I no longer go for lights and stuff in my cases I found the slowly pulsating green symbol on the back of the mouse to be pleasant to look at and not distracting when its not in use. Overall a great buy if you prefer a simple high precision gaming mouse

This mouse is really sensitive and rolls like a marble. It’s one of the best mouses I ever owned. I use it for gaming and scrolling the internet. I would definitely buy again. A friend bought this mouse six years ago and it’s still in use for gaming.

This mouse is my second mouse from Razer and I really enjoy it. My first Razer mouse was the Razer Taipan, it was a well constructed mouse that lasted me for about two years before it's scroll wheel broke. The Razer DeathAdder is my new favorite mouse (aside from my late Steelseries Sensei). I have very large hands and play with a palm grip, so small mice don't work as well for my style of gaming. I have recently switched to playing FPS(First-Person Shooter) type games and it's easier to use than the Taipan (due to the DeathAdder's ergonomic design). The pricing of the DeathAdder is comfortable considering it has some sweet green led back lighting and is customizeable. The only downsides to this mouse that I could think of without over scrutinizing every aspect of it is; the Razer Synapse software often crashes and freezes, and the DeathAdder itself is a large mouse and might not be easily used by those with small hands.

The Deathadder 2013, is a quality gaming mouse. The mouse itself, is sturdy and responsive and color scheme mirrors the Blackwidow 2013 keyboard set. Even long sessions of constant clicking through Diablo III Reaper of Souls the mouse shows no ill effects. Almost everything is customizable on this mouse through Razor's included app. You can tweak to DPI settings, and even disengage the faint alien green glow of the mouse if that isn't your thing. You can really set this mouse up exactly to your own specifications. On the downside, the mouse does included a few additional programmable buttons. That is fine, but the location of those buttons is such that, I have a tendency to push the buttons inadvertently when I am repositioning the mouse. Because of this, I have found that I don't use them. Bottom line, if you're in need of a rugged, versatile mouse, that can be tailored to the responsiveness you desire, look no further.

Having owned a previous Deathadder 3.5G this purchase was a no brainer. My previous Razer mouse lasted me 6 great years without a hiccup. This new version is not only more responsive especially when paired with a Vespula mouse pad but also extremely comfortable with the addition of the rubber side grips. Only downside is that 15 days after my purchase the new Deathadder Chroma with a greater DPI and ability to change colors was announced.

My husband and son are gaming addicts. I brought this mouse for my husband and he loved it. He talked so much about how great it was my son wanted one so I purchased one for him for Christmas. Now I never see them, they play each other and I get the TV all to myself. Win, win situation - yeah. According to them best gift ever.

A review for the new 2013 Deathadder

Dear fellow gamers , this is a review for the latest mouse in Razer's Deathadder series . If You have never owned a DA before , or You just want to replace your old one , buy this one without hesitation . When I heard that Razer would release a new DA my first thought was that it was just another marketing trick to make a quick profit , but this model really IS a far cry from the old one . The 2013 Deathadder has various important improvements : The sensor has been replaced by a 6400dpi 4G Optical Sensor but I don't think that really matters to most gamers . The scroll wheel is flatter and more responsive than the old one and it is a DREAM to use ! Same thing goes for the left and right click and even the side buttons . They don't seem as flimsy as in the old one . The matt surface is a little bit rougher and in combination with the rubber side grips the mouse really feels like an extension of your hand . This model feels so sturdy that it makes the 3.5 G feel like a cheap fake , it's honestly that much of a difference ! So if You personally take your game seriously I would make the investment and buy this version , it's definitely worth it .

The feel of using it is just amazing. It's like using the mechanic keyboards. For mac user(windows I am not sure) There is an app you can download for free and adjust all the settings of the mouse. It works great. You can even control to turn off or on the light. People can think it's a little expensive for the price, but it is worth the money. I used for2 years now and still in good shape.
