Razer's DeathAdder is one of the more popular and least changed designs they have ever had. Aside from the DOA issues the brand has a reputation for, this is an excellent choice for a mouse.

Great all-around mouse for gaming or whatever. The only issue I have is that sometimes the rubber on the side causes my hand to sweat a bit during gaming sessions.

I've tried several gaming mice over the years and the Deathadder is the one that is here to stay. It's shape makes it easy to grip for long play sessions and it's large side buttons are we placed for easy use. I'm not a big fan of the billion button mice, as most of them are two small or many of the buttons are uncomfortable to reach/use. The Deathadder keeps the simple and the design also has a nice look.

This mouse is super responsive. The 6400 dpi will make the pointer go where you need it in a smooth, efficient motion. The cord is long and has a premium briading around it to protect from signal lose and for durability. The mouse feel is nice, but the size is slightly larger than my old one making my hand uncomfortable at times. Also, it has a slow flashing brand symbol on the palm rest that I don't know how to get rid of. This can be distracting when watching a show online.

Lost a customer due to software

Short version: Due to previous spyware-ish Terms of Service in the Synapse 2.0 program to unlock the advertized DPI ratings, I returned the mouse. Until Razer goes back to a no log-in program or makes their mouse programless, they have lost a customer. Long version: I've had a 2nd gen Death Adder for years now, and I picked up a Death Adder 2013 for work use. Feels excellent, design is excellent, fits naturally for palm mice users, and I think it's one of the best dish buttoned mice out there. Problem is that to unlock the high DPI capability, you have to download the Synapse 2.0 program, which requires you to create an account. At one time their Terms of Service had a small anecdote that said that the software may gather data of the useage of your computer, and that it may sell it to Other companies. Since then Razer has stated that the Synapse 2.0 has a one-time log-in, then it may be switched to off-line mode, and Razer has also revised their Terms of Service to state that they may gather non-personal info, and that they will not resell it. Until Razer goes back to a no log-in based program, or even better, goes to a programless mouse, they have lost another customer. I have since ordered a Zowie Gear mouse. If you - as the reader - don't mind the sketchy history, it is otherwise a very good mouse.

Bought it for my grandfather because of the shape, weight, and feel. Smaller, lighter mice don’t work well for him. Braided cord cover is nice. Long cord.

My son "needed" a gaming mouse for his computer. We went shopping and found this one. It matches all of the extra things he has on his computer. The buttons are very well positioned and work easily, It feels very comfortable in the hand.

This RAZR gaming mouse is one of the more comfortable and user friendly mice I have ever used. I purchased based upon a website recommendation that reviews dozens of gaming mice - and this was said to be the best. I recommend this mouse for anyone that wants a quality piece of computer equipment.
