I need to occasionally reboot the computer to get the keyboard to work. Other than that I like the keyboard.

    Excellent Keyboard

So I purchased this keyboard with a bundle for the razer Kraken, a mousepad, and a Razer Deathadder. all three of these are excellent products, but I'm choosing to do this review over the keyboard. The keyboard looks very nice, not to mention FULLY adjustable backlit keyboard. when I saw it had custom key-mappings I thought "Oh great I can set keybinds on numpad" what an understatement. I can re-map every single key on it, from shift to pause. You can set this keyboard to do just about anything. The keys are very soft and coming from a non-mechanical keyboard I went from 85 WPM to 110. Did I mention the chiclet keycaps? With these you aren't able to get food, dog hair, cat hair, ANYTHING in between the keys, making cleanup SUPER easy. I fully reccomend this keyboard, the wrist rest is very comfortable, the keyboard sounds pleasant, it's just an all-around stunning keyboard for the price.

    fantastic keyboard

Keeping in mind I have never owned a real gamer keyboard before this keyboard is really amazing. I like the small things such as how it lights up with the keys, green keys are just really cool to have. It has a satisfying click to each type of a letter too. Those were just the superficial things, what is deep down in its core is a great way to assign keys and make macros. I would definitely recommend this keyboard to anyone who is a gamer on a budget. One thing I will not forget to mention is its very useful for writing papers. Sounds crazy, but it has a nice wrist rest and also yet again green keys keep people awake. I finished finals recently and had to write an overall total of 52 pages. It has gotten its money worth so far and shows no signs of wear or tear.

great keyboard for the price, really responsive and has a slick design. Love the LED key lights even on the bright setting it does not interfere with game play or anything like that. I would defiantly recommend to any wanting a higher performance key board. It is very comfortable to use and works well with most games.

    Solid Keyboard a little pricey

Bought this keyboard because I work in an office setting and cant used their mechanical variants. Comfortable feeling and very solid build. Quiet operation and very responsive. I was expecting this to have more of a click, similar to an Apple chiclet style keyboard, however they are a little softer. All an all--- a great keyboard.

Time to review this beast of a keyboard. Honestly i am happy with it. Though I do find my self having to put in the extra effort to press the keys, I find that that computer does follow the key press quite quickly and promptly. Now i used to type around 100 wpm... ~70 correct any way... I'm finding this keyboard a little resistant to get into a groove with, though NOT impossible in the slightest. Though it does require minimally more effort to press the keys down enough to register, far more than any mechanical i know. I still find that the feeling of each tap down, even when i try to blaze out words and assault my keys with punishing blows I still find that the board and its keys just keep begging for more. The more I type the more and more I just want to keep typing. It is honestly a joy to use this board as much as i normally would. Even with the non-familiar resistance these keys offer. I admit though it does instill confidence in me that these keys will last for quite some time, and were meant to be punished on even the most grueling of gaming sessions. I will not recommend this board to everyone, though mostly everyone. I love the adjustable brightness, the ability to turn on gaming mode at the hit of a two key combo and disable the windows key, even alt+f4. it has just enough of the media control keys to keep me getting to my volume, and controlling my media player. this board even has the function key to set my pc to sleep, a personal necessity for any board. Now this board is great for the casual gamer, and frequent chatter that finds they have nimble but clumsy fingers. The chicle design allows me to flow over the board in my own personal way of typing that i taught my self over my many, many years of online chatting and/or role playing. The ability for it to have no ghosting on up to ten keys is amazing, the only thing i would with, especially for the price, is some macro keys. Considering the price for other back lit keyboards that are wired or even wireless, this one came with high recommendation and infinite praise. It seemed right to just get the more durable one with less ghosting issues than some POC logitech every day use model. And as an avid minecrafter i wish i could have some spare key bindings for my various macros for chat commands, or even in game mod commands. That is only the real problem with this keyboard. Lastly this is not a keyboard i would recommend to anyone with slim hands, this is a big person's board and should be respected for his nicely if not almost too far spaced out keys. Even though that does allow for one to press the wrong key accidentally, the down fall of fat fingers. In closing, would i buy this again even with out the sale i got on this sucker? Nether yes my friends, nether yes.

    Great Style, Rough Typer

    Posted .

This is a great keyboard for a light user, but if you plan on typing often and other functions out side of gaming, I would compare this with other keyboards in its class. The keys require quite a bit of force and sometimes respond well, sometimes they misfire. I've slowed down my typing speeds due to having to really press on each key. I'm coming from a wired Mac Chiclet style keyboard (same as this one) and the difference in pressure is actually quite a shock. Don't get me wrong, this is a sturdy keyboard, with a great finish, and Synapsis 2.0 enabled. I'm really happy with the quality, but if you are a quick typist, and are use to simple-press keys, this will take time getting adjusted to.

    Great Keyboard For the Price!!

This keyboard is great on the money! It is sleek and offers great features like Macro Recording and Anti-Ghosting. The key feedback is great as well due to the fact of how responsive it is. The chicklet key set isn't favored by many, but it is very smooth and easy to use. For the money, you are getting a lot of good features even if you're crazy into gaming. I highly recommend this keyboard because of the functionality and what you get for the money. Reason why I gave it 4 Stars is because I'm a fan of Mechanical Keyboards like the Razer Blackwidow, but even then, this keyboard is still amazing!!!

Yet another great product from the Razer lineup!

Replaced my Lycosa with this Deathstalker. A little different feel going to a chicklet style key, but only one day and already has that great feeling that the Razer products all have. This will be my 3rd Razer keyboard so far, and am on my 2nd Razer mouse. After switching to Razer products have not gone back to anything else. And with already using the Naga and Lycosa with the Synapse enabled, the ease of migrating to this new sweet keyboard was super easy.

Fantastic Keyboard for Work or Play

I've had this keyboard for the last few weeks now, and i figured leaving a review wouldn't hurt. i have never been one for typing on the "homerow", as my 8th grade keyboarding teacher could tell you, and up till I bought this keyboard, I had been using the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate. While that wasn't a bad keyboard in and of itself, it just was never for me. too loud for when I recorded, and too heavy to be as portable as i needed. This keyboard solved both those problems, and typing is quick and easy. Solid recommendation.

Nice Feel and Wrist Support Perfect for my Gaming

I got this on Christmas. I forgot to come back and write a review so that others can experience what I have. I type really fast and I play a lot of games so the feel is a must. The buttons work like a charm. And they don't seem to wear. I like the wrist support. If you have a limited amount of space it might not be the best choice because the keyboard is pretty big. O and the software is awesome. It does require internet to get it though

    Exellent Entry Level

Well built like most Razer. Good for typing and most gaming. If you want to get fancy you can set up macros with Razer Synapse software but no buttons on-board to setup... I wouldn't expect that from a keyboard in this price range. I was really looking for a decent back-lit keyboard, also one that wouldn't mechanical clickty-clack since I play in a small shared space. This was perfect. Only downside is keys get a little greasy-worn. I'm 6months in and it's only now starting to become an issue, but it's nothing a little regular cleaning can't help.

I purchased this keyboard as my weapon of choice for my daily cubicle warrior battles. It's much better than the cheap-o keyboards the office provides on a regular basis, and the chiclet keys (the kind that are on most laptops) are great to type on too. It's very responsive and in case you have to come in for "bonus rounds" on the weekend, the keys are also backlit with a nice forest green color. The wrist-rest is built into this keyboard as well, it cannot be removed, but it makes it much more comfortable in my opinion.

This keyboard is really comfortable, programmable features also make it a very commanding piece of gear for any gamer. Make sure you have the software installed for its use before you plug it in or you will have a keyboard that doesn't work. If you have Windows use the ease of access to get the keyboard on screen so you can type with a mouse to do the install.

I was looking for a scissor switch keyboard, since mechanical wasn't comfortable to me. The layout on this keyboard is nice, the keys feel nice if a little stiff. I didn't really want a numpad (again, transitioning from laptop) but that's no big deal. The lettering is stylized, therefore a little weird, but I don't mind. Just got it, so I'm hoping it lasts. Last note, Amazon has this for $56 as of 03-06-15. Best Buy will price match (which is what I did). In store this keyboard is $80.

I bought this keyboard at a local Best Buy (not the website), and I loved it so much. Its back lighting matched my razer deathadder. I love how I can program the keys to pretty much do anything I want. This could be used if a friend has a deathstalker (so you can mess with everything i.e. making the "w" key the "s" key and vice versa to mess with their mmo games) The key distance is the only thing I dislike, but this is only because I got it only recently and I am still adjusting. I would HIGHLY recommend this item to any razer fan who doesn't have that much money, or not a big fan of mechanical keyboards. I love the razer deathstalker, and I love all razer products.
