I got the mouse pad because the cloth pads keep wearing out and folding up at the edges, The surface really did improve on performance and accuracy of my mouse.

Tossed out my old basic mousepad and picked this up and couldn't be happier. So many different color customization settings. From breathing, pulsing, waves, static, flashing etc. clockwise counter clockwise. Also set it to react to your mouse clicks etc. some games come with a feature to mimic health from green yellow orange red etc. Amazing mouse pad highly recommend!

Bright RGB alot of room and great customization on razer app

Based on my research this is a great game pad that will go with my gaming system. i am waiting to open it for x-mas......omg i cant wait!!!!

I haven't played around with the software to change the lighting, but so far I really like this mouse pad. The colors, size, and tracking is great. The material feels durable and I love the non-slip base. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting as I've only ever used cloth mouse pads, but overall I'm happy with it and would recommend it.

... I can honestly say, this is an excellent mousepad. I have the this, a Mamba Chroma, and a Blackwidow Chroma, and all three are working as well as they did in late 2015. Say what you will about Chroma prices, they all work flawlessly. And yes, even though I feel like a little kid sometimes, I still love the bling factor. Guess that makes me a Chroma homie, huh?

This is a different mouse pad then I am use to because it's hard. That being said it is actually a lot better and more responsive playing with this.

RBG lighting is awesome, and it has an amazing smooth surface

I don't really care about the colors but if you want to change or customize them you need to install a program from razer's website.

I really like this from a standpoint of aesthetics. Not necessary for performance, but it ties in well with my other Razer products.

The color spectrum are great and the texture of the pad makes the sensitivity while playing awesome! Would recommend this to anyone!

I have been looking for a mouse pad with some style and ran across the Razor Firefly, This is an awesome piece and goes very well with my setup.

Nice size for a mouse pad and is lit up as well and if you want you can download software from razer to have multi color options.

It's larger than your average mouse lad and the surface is hard and rough. The pad seems to have a hump in the middle, exactly as i read in other reviews. It causes the mouse to scrape when moved across. All in all, i really enjoy the lights and they were smart enough to keep them from going around the back, which would have caused glare on my monitor. But, unless you're only interested in having a colorful desk-topper, there are definitely better pads out there.
