Was looking for a durable pair of headphones that can handle my daily streaming. Amazing headphones with crisp sound. Strongly recommended!

Pros: Good build quality, innovative retractable mic, easy to use inline controls. Cons: Audio quality, comfort. I purchased these on sale at my local brick and mortar store in the hopes that I could get an inexpensive headset for multiplayer gaming. Known Razers reputation I decided to purchase these along side a competitors product the HyperX Cloud Revolvers. I found the Kraken's to be extremely uncomfortable to wear. After no more than 15 minutes of wearing them on my average sized head I began to experience a vice like sensation that would remain with me for several minutes even after removing the headphones. I've read reports online of people stretching them apart for some time in order to reduce their clamping effects and I likely would have considered doing that if it wasn't for the audio quality. Audio was tested directly from the PC's Creative Labs Z sound card as well as an iPhone. Both delivered muddy audio despite attempts to correct for it using the sound cards EQ. The audio sounded very muffled and almost as if I was listening to it through some foam or a thin pillow. At this point in my testing I removed the headphones and returned them to best buy without testing the mic as I had no intentions of keeping them.

Sound Quality good. Can tuck the microphone out of the way when it is not needed. Can use for both computer and x box.

I Love the Razer Brand; Flashy and certainly stands out. i bought 2 of these headsets with the intent of playing WoW and other games on my computer with my Fiancee, and theyre a wonderful pair when palying games, has a bold sound, makes the experience complete. however, when trying to listen to music while doing housework or taking a walk, i have to say its not the best sound, has somewhat of a feel like youre listening through a muffled tube. for what they are however, i love them and id reccomend them.

Purchased for sons gaming and working very well. Very comfortable on head and ears. Good, clear sound. Mic adjustable and picks up voice well. Would buy again.

These headphones are worth every cent. The audio quality is great, the mic is really good, and they feel really comfortable on your head

The sound quality on this headset is amazing. I play a lot of first person shooters, and lately, battle royale games like Apex Legends, so it's crucial to be able to hear enemy footsteps. This headset definitely delivers. The mic quality is superb and easily the best I've ever used. The only downside is that this headset does hurt my head when I wear it for two hours or more. It's unbearable.

Bought for my son's video game obsession...he loves the fit feel and color...not to mention the great SOUND!

I find that I can't hear myself talk so I have to leave one ear partially off, but despite this personal issue the headphones are of good quality.

Bought these on sale at BB for my son. He says they are very comfortable and sound good. Not a huge fan of the color though.

Love this Razer- Kraken headset because it's so comfortable to wear for long periods of time and does everything advertised.

My son uses these for gaming and Skype calls. The retractable mic is great, but listeners have said that it crackles. We put a small piece of foam over the mic and it improved his listeners' sound quality dramatically.

I bought 2 of these at different times, for use w/our new Playstation. It works well w/the PS and does what it says it does. I love that the microphone can be retracted, which lessens the chance of it getting broken (which is highly likely at times w/the kids!). One has even used it when talking on her phone, and it's worked great. No real complaints other than they say it gets a bit uncomfortable.
