Been using this headset for over 2 weeks now, and I have to say that I'm impressed and not impressed at the same time. I'm a big bass-head and I mainly got these for the transducers that these have that simulate a heavy bass (haptics) -- and they are fantastic for that. The sound on these headphones are also great. Im sure it's because of its "triforce titanium" drivers/speakers. The highs are clear and the lows are punchy. There are two big down sides to these headphones. 1. The connection/ sound cuts off for a braid second at random times while wirelessly connected via its own receiver, which ultimately breaks the immersion. 2. It would be great to be able to use these normally while plugged-in (using a 3.5mm headphone cable), but the haptics do not work in that mode -- skullcandy was able to figure that out. The mic captures a clear voice, although I haven't used it much. With the razer synapse software you can change it's settings and be able to see it's current charge, but it didn't display it correctly. To be clear, when it's charging, it displays the current charge and doesn't register that it is charging for a few minutes, then, after a full charge and unplugging it, the software still displays that it is charging while still displaying that same amount from when it was plugged in. I don't know if it's the synapse or the headphones but communication is not good. It could be my ears, but, compared to the Dolby Atmos sound immersion, I couldn't tell the difference between having the THX off or on. All other settings work though. Overall, for being such an expensive pair of headphones, they are good but not worth the price.

The product has straight forward instructions that. are easy to follow, the sound quality is excellent compared to other 180$ headphones, the build quality is very good, it feels sturdy, reliable and everything is replaceable through razers website making it easy to fix if you do have a problem down the line.

Heavy, dies fast, never connects to synapse software to modify/adjust colors. Overall wouldn’t recommend this headset as a female. They are loud and have a lot of bass; no complaints with the mic…they’re just heavy and unnecessarily huge, die, and take long to charge. I also have to unplug and plug back in sometimes when my pc doesn’t identify them for some reason.

One of the coolest headphone innovations ever made! Sounds excellent and adds a whole new level of atmosphere when playing games. Sometimes it gets annoying so I turn it off but I also notice the higher frequencies suffer when the bass comes in. Most comfortable ear cups in the industry imo because of the microfiber like fabric that contacts your head. Volume knob also is easily accidentally manipulated.

Excellent headset, best one I’ve had so far. I’ve had the Logitech Pro X, Astro A20s, Corsair Virtuoso, Steel Series 7 Arctis, Hyper X Cloud Alphas and many more. When it comes to comfortability and sound I believe these to be the best on the market. The haptic feature is what really sold me on these.

Needed an upgrade from my wired headset, huge sound quality improvement. Way more comfortable to wear and the mic sound is substantially better.

If you charge the battery often, you’re good to go. The headset looks beautiful and feel expensive. The sound is great, better than the Logitech Pro X. It has deep bass and clear sound. It is precise when it comes to fps gaming. I don’t use the immersive feature which would reduce the battery life.

- razer synapse software does not always find device on pc startup, requiring un/replugging of usb - annoying, persistent (every few seconds, truly horrific) beeping tone occurs while on low battery, though seemingly fixed by restarting headset? - introduction of thx spatial audio software can initially complicate/block functioning. fixed by restarting pc, setting default sound output to THX Spatial Audio, and/or replugging usb (+/- prayer?) - power button's pause/skip/rewind functions are finicky. expect rewinds (triple press) to register as pauses or skips (single, double press, respectively) + great sound, especially with THX Spatial Audio software and Hypersense (on device function), which is like ear haptics, but just feels like extreme bass. With synapse, sound adjusts between Movie, Game, etc. modes depending on the application currently in focus + comfortable + feels sturdy, quality + bluetooth capability not required on any devices, as wireless connectivity is done via a usb + detachable mic (which i have not yet used) + size adjuster is marked with numbers, good for knowing your preference

Picked one of these bad boys up not too long ago and so far it’s been a solid choice. The construction and materials used are of high quality and having Razer Chroma integration with the rest of my Razer peripherals is where it’s at. The ear cups feel comfortable after extended use and the sound quality is spectacular. The one thing I will mention though is that the headphones happen to disconnect frequently from the USB receiver. I often find myself having to turn the headphones on and off when jumping between browser tabs or embedded videos at websites. Thus the 4 star review as its a minor inconvenience I suspect not all will enjoy.

Very versatile headphones. They are so comfortable and have great sound output and input. They do tend to wear and tear over time but that’s expected with any set of headphones. Will purchase again

Battery life is what kills it. It a great audio device, but also comes with a heavy feeling. Maybe if they made a light weight model and possibly take off the rgb as its not needed for gaming.

For $200, the Kraken V3 Pro has mediocre sound, outdated firmware, lacks bluetooth, long-ish USB A dongle, but interesting haptic motors for immersion. Not having bluetooth isn't a big deal because latency is a problem when you're gaming. There's a noteable lack of ANC but to be honest, I'm surprised any wireless headset -anything- has ANC for $200. Most ANCs I've heard in this price range are pretty bad, affect the sound characteristics, and don't block out all that well. It's honestly not a miss in my book. Needed to EQ the sound in the Synapse application and to be honest, the THX "feature" doesn't compare to Dolby Atmos. I toned down the low end by two db across the range, raised the mids a tiny bit, and brought down some of the highs as well. This balanced out the sound for more of a neutral frequency which produced good clarity and sparkle. The firmware was really frustrating to update because although the update software told me it would need to shut down the modules for Synapse, it didn't. I had to turn off the Synapse auto run feature, restart the computer, and that fixed my issues. Talk about a headache. After resolving the problems I've listed, the headphones now sound much better, the cups and headband offer decent comfort, and the haptic feedback is a nice gimmick that I personally find to be a good selling point. I imagine the battery life could be better if I turned them off but why? They still last a day of gaming and I just charge them afterwards. Controls are basically all on the left side which clutters it up, but the volume dial is not too hard to find and I imagine with repetition, it'll be even easier to reach for. I like that there's a mute button that you can determine if activated or not, and the haptic adjust on the right is a good place for that. This headset is an easy recommendation for those looking for a decent wireless headset and really want the immersion that the haptics provide.

These headphones sound very great with the built in surround sound. I would complain that getting these to sync up with the doggie can be annoying sometimes. I’d have to use a Razer app to link them every time I had issues. Besides that, I think they’re epic for living room setups. I plan to use em at my desk more now since I hate the wire of my older headset. I’m curious if these can be used with the base station v2 audio dad via wire connection?
