Customers find value in the Naga Hex Expert's well-placed buttons, ease of use, and sleek design. Many appreciate its performance and accuracy, along with the competitive price point. However, some users find the size to be too small for their hands, and others have experienced issues with the software. A few also mentioned the cord length and thumb rest as minor drawbacks.

Great feel and mobility

I once would have said that any mouse will be sufficient for PC gaming, and now after having both a Razer mouse and mouse mat, I see the error in my previous ways of thinking. The headset allows for awesome communication with my teammates when gaming, and the mouse allows for so much more mobility than was allowed with just any plain mouse. Would recommend any razer product to any gamer, casual or serious.

Overpriced piece of green junk that has all the fancy lights you would think of but is not comfortable to hold and press side buttons, forward and back buttons are on top and Razer Synapse software had trouble syncing from the cloud and kept crashing. This was my first and last Razer product I ever bought. Returning this junk tomorrow.

I bought the Razer hex a few days ago. Unfortunately, there was not one on display, so I couldn't test hand positioning. The clerk assured me that they had a 16 day return policy, so I picked one up.
I chose it for the six button layout as it would work well with several games I'm currently running. There were several issues with it though: The buttons are all very sensitive, so I'd unintentionally activate something I didn't want to, Then, the overall placement of them was off and I found no good spot to rest my thumb or grip without hitting one of those keys I mentioned. The plastic is very smooth and I found that it became slightly slick as well. The end result was hand cramps after only an hour or so of gaming.
For me, the idea is great on this device, but the execution is off. I returned it and picked up the Naga Limited Edition. I've only used it for a few hours, but so far its miles better.

I replaced my cheap Logitech mouse with this Razer Naga. I was a little skeptical about spending $66 on this mouse, but from how much my gaming has improved in just this short time I am certain it's worth the money. I have a lot of faith in this mouse that it'll bring me to great places in the gaming communities that we all love.

A nice mouse for games such as League of Legends. Will be able to withstand the numerous amount of button clicks it takes to be able to play the games at a fast pace. Must buy for the PC gamers out there.

I love the thumb layout and 6 button options for mmo games. My problem is that after a few minutes, the mouse stops working properly. It will no longer track vertically. I've tried all the troubleshooting options and the razer rep told me to exchange it in store. I have heard about some compatibility issues with Windows 10 with this mouse. I am exchanging with a replacement today. I will update my review after I've tested the new mouse.

I bought this mouse as a replacement for my Razer DeathAdder that I've had for several years. I'm an MMO player, so I thought this would be a perfect fit! How wrong I was... While the mouse looks really cool and the weight feels nice, if you aren't using the Hex buttons, the mouse feels small in the hand. To use the hex buttons you have to put your hand in a "claw" formation and it will soon cramp with any duration of game play. Just to give you an idea, I am a female with average hands.
I play Guild Wars 2. I was sad to find out the Hex buttons will not function at all with this game. It took a week just to get my first response from Razer tech support about the issue. By then I had had enough and took the mouse back in exchange for a trusty Logitech that does work with Guild Wars 2 with no issues and no cramping.
Maybe next time Razer. I used to love you...

No drivers come with the mouse. You have to download Synapse 2.0 but then you can not use that until you register. Just try and register. They send you an email with instructions to complete registration but the email only sends you to a blank page. So you can never register or use the mouse. Just try and find any support from Razer.
