Wireless, ambidextrous, ergonomic, eye candy, 8200 DPI sensitivity. Excellent with FPS games. Looks like something Batman would of designed if he hasn't already. Overall, for an expensive mouse, it met my expectations.

The Razer Ouroboros is an excellent mouse just to start off with. The mouse has many features which I didn't even realize it had until I started utilizing them in game play and work time. The only slight downside is the price but the best of this mouse is that is wired and wireless so when you are gaming, you can wire your mouse up so there is no lag or have it wireless when you are just browsing around or doing simple work on the computer.

I was looking for a gaming mouse that had 2 major qualities - size and weight. I have always liked heavier mice when using my home PC to play games. I used to have a Microsoft Sidewinder a long time ago and loved it. Sadly, it gave up the ghost one day, so I went in search for my next PC mouse. I landed at the Logitech G9x, and really enjoyed it. However, it stopped working a little over a year after 1 purchased it. So, I stayed in the Logitech family of products but went to different model, and mostly hated that mouse. In browsing through Best Buy one evening, I stumbled across this beast. I read some reviews and decided to take a chance. Plus, it was $50 off at the time, so I took advantage of that. My first impression was how solid this mouse was. There aren't any weights with this mouse, so I wondered how light it may feel. Out of the box, it felt too light. But once I put the rechargeable battery pack in, the weight was perfect! Additionally, it allows you to configure this mouse in multiple ways - for really small hands, larger hands, palm mice users, claw mice users, etc. Once I adjusted it to as big as I could/ I was satisfied with the whole setup. Then I realized it could be used wired or wireless. Bonus! I have never been a fan of wireless mice for gaming, so this just put the cherry on top! It has great feel, solid construction, great weight to it, and can be used wired or wireless. I am completely satisfied with this purchase. If you are looking for a highly adjustable top-end gaming mouse, this is the one to get!

Macros, ultra fast response, customization is limitless. Had a wireless HP mouse which i loved but this mouse is amazing. A bit big but i got over that fast, love the macros also, no more reaching for those out of bounds keys, the dpi goes all the way up to 8200 i think? either way that's to high for me atm, but one day i shall reach that level. only thing that is bad about the mouse is the rechargeable battery it comes with, had to get a lithium rechargeable because sometimes i play for to long on the computer =P

An elite mouse...pricey but if you can get one well worth the cost...Love being wireless and the mouse responds well...Very adjustable to different hand sizes...Look for a price match when purchasing...It kinda looks Batman-ish

Mouse is quite accurate. I have very large hand but this mouse fits perfectly. the customizations options are fantastic. I highly recommend this mouse to any real gamer if they can drop some money. I highly suggest to buy a 4pack of rechargeable AA and use those to swap out and stay wireless when needed. Shut off mouse before swapping batteries to prevent errors, takes a total of 15 seconds to swap batteries shut off mouse(5seconds) take out battery , put new battery in, close battery door and attach palm rest(5 seconds) turn on mouse (5 seconds).

The Ouroboros by Razer has replaced my Lachesis mouse and I count be any happier. Wireless mice have come a long way and this one tops them all. I was looking into getting the Mamba, but luckily this came out. Smooth, sleek and so customizable.A must buy for any serious gamer that wants enough buttons but not too many to throw off your game. Easy set up makes this mouse a gem. The software if auto updating and lets you play your games the way you need to play them.

Previously I was using a R.A.T.7 and loved it. The physical design was so adjustable that I could form it to my hand. However the R.A.T.7 died unexpectedly and I chose the Ouroboros the second time around. The physical design is slightly less configurable, but the button layout has several additional programmable features. It is also perfectly matched for lefties as it is symmetrical and the side buttons can be switched.
On the fly DPS settings, including the ability to make a side button temporarily select a DPS sensitivity, make this a great choice for FPS players. The on the fly dps settings are great for traversing from one scenario to the next, and setting a button to select a nice low DPS while being pressed makes for a great immediate "sniper" mode button.
For MMO players, the ability to configure each and every button means you can truly play the way you want.
The buttons are well placed so there is no accidental pressing of the wrong button, and everything has a great kinetic feedback.
The recharge is fairly quick with a replaceable rechargeable battery that is included. The stand is a classy design that will fit on any desk, and just in case the battery runs low during use, it can be plugged directly in for use while charging.
Switching it from wireless to wired or wired to wireless mode has given me a few complications, the mouse not responding being one of them, but after going through the the connectivity setup the problems are minimal. Upon startup, it can sometimes take a minute or two to load the programming and settings. During this time, the default DPS seems to be very high and is rather hard to control the cursor to get anything done. Sometimes the program needs to be started manually and the setting profile selected, but 30 seconds at most is used to get past the inconvenience.
It can be wired mode for a laptop rather easily, but due to the docking bay being its wireless transmitter, it makes it a bit awkward for wireless use with a laptop.
Overall, a great addition to any computer setup, an awesome one for a gaming setup. Make the next one with adjustable LED's!

I bought this gaming mouse for my husband for our first wedding anniversary. He had been looking for it online for a long time. While on our anniversary vacation, we decided to stop in at Best Buy to look around and they had the mouse. Best Buy was the only store I had been to that carried the mouse.
It is completely customizable to perfectly fit your hand to have the perfect gaming experience. Plus the fact that it is a Razer product, it had excellent quality and feel.
I would highly recommend this product to everyone. Yes, it may be a little pricey, but it will last for a very long time.
I also like how it connects to your computer. Razer occasionally comes out with new software to optimize their hardware and it will automatically update.

Great gaming mouse if you have yourself a battle station. Not very adaptable to uneven surfaces. Worth buying if you have big hands like I do, as its size is one of many things adjustable on this mouse.

Let's start of with the looks it's a nice looking mouse razer definitely spend time engineering this mouse. It is very accurate when it comes to tracking, Comfort is the reason why I like this mouse. I noticed my game play has gotten a lot better. Overall it's a nice purchase The only reason I took off one star is because of the battery life average 7 hours. You can always purchase rechargeable batteries.

Excellent build quality with the ability to customize the thumb and pinky rest areas, as well as the length and angle of the palm rest. Due to its ambidextrous/symmetrical/mirrored design, it doesn't quite fit the hands natural tilt to the outside, but that's subjective to each user. Nice extra buttons without being crammed or crowded. Performance is excellent, with easily customizable dpi settings. The software is fairly easy to navigate, and looks nice and clean. Does NOT change colors, only lights up green, but the intensity can be adjusted. Works wirelessly or wired, with decent battery life. The hub is nice with the world's most awesome rubber base. It stays where you put it.

First, Is it worth the money. Yes I think so. Feel and weight and movement very comfortable. Speed and control adjustments are endless. Battery life is fair no complaints about charging but you have to remember it is a wireless device and needs to be charged frequently nothing out of the ordinary. I wish it would come with a usb cord that you can plug diresctly into mouse to charge the only way you can charge it is by placing it on the charging dock. Other than that it is excellent and a great performer.

All buttons are assignable but the software doesn't trigger the profiles everytime and all the changeable parts become almost too easy to swap on accident at times. My right click squeaks like crazy now when I game but the quality of the optics and ergonomic adjustability offsets for those drawbacks. Great mouse.

My first one I purchased had a loose and squeaky left click button, but I exchanged it for a new one and no problems so far.
It is one of the smoothest moving mice I have ever owned. I like it also because you can use it wired or wirelessly.
