All Sorts of Issues - Get Elgato HD60
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this for about a day after already having experienced the Elgato HD60. I returned it the same day and bought another HD60. I never managed to get this fully working. I was always missing something in my stream, Either game audio, mic audio, or video. Could not get everything to work all at the same time. Unfortunately read reviews after I bought this. All sorts of people having issues with these things. My HD60 just plugs in and works.

Great Capture Card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This capture card does everything I ask of it. I have had no issues using it with OBS Studio. Not a big fan of the Gamecaster software from Razer, but I never really planned on using it when I bought the ripsaw.

Works as intended!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For a first gen device off of Razer, this works. Quality is great. You just need to make sure your computer is on high specs or at least more than the recommended.

a SOLID 4 star external capture card
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally purchased an Elgato Capture HD so I could use it on all my consoles. I couldn't handle the the delay between the Elgato and my computer due to the USB 2.0. So instead of sticking with Elgato, I decided to switch to the Ripsaw by Razer, granted all the reviews I read were not looking so hot, barely 3/5 stars in some places. I took the plunge and exchanged and brought this Ripsaw home. Thing works flawless. I noticed that alot of the 'problems' I read about regarding this capture card aren't actually the card itself. It was user error and OBS problems. This is not as easy to setup as Razer claims it is, but its on par with every other capture card as far as knowledge to set it up. I have had no driver problems, no lag, the thing runs like a champ, its sleek like every razer product. If you are on the fence about what capture card to get and you use OBS to capture footage or stream, I honestly would pick this up. Don't believe the negative reviews you see on Amazon and such. They just don't know how to be independent and mess with settings in their software. TL:DR - Great capture card, better than Elgato and Avermedia. Common sense setup, works with virtually all consoles, great for capturing video game footage, close to no latency(you wont notice, its in the ms range).

Glitchy freezy trash
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a fairly new video game streamer and this was my first capture card. all reviews and stuff looked great, bought it, and worked with minor bugs for a bit in the beginning. then the freezes and the blank black screen just became more and more frequent. now its in no way reliable (like it could be fine at the start of the stream and just completely stop working 10 minutes later) with nothing changing, all with the green light glowing in my face. Hopefully there is a way I can get my money back cause this was an expensive waste, I bought a no name Chinese capture card off amazon half the price works infinitely better and no drivers to get. I was super excited about this, but it was huge let down.

Heard it was simple
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Read about the product and how easy it was to install and easy to operate. Couldn’t get a green light to use it, was extremely difficult to use. But that’s just my opinion.

Horrible That's all I got to Say
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OK, I know some have said this is better than the Elgato HD 60 Pro, well I own the Elgato HD 60 Pro but I thought that this would be better, apparently not. Horrible confusing software and if your mouse pointer is hanging over the video capture screen with the Razor Ripsaw it ends up capturing it as well. I mean come on Razor, you make the best Webcam and other products out their why not make a BEAST capture card that doesn't capture the mouse pointer when capturing from a console device. I think I will stick my Elgato HD 60 Pro.
