I bought the Razer Thunderbolt 5 Dock to simplify my desk setup and use one dock with my gaming laptop, monitors, storage, and peripherals. So far, it has handled everything very well. The biggest advantage is the amount of bandwidth and connectivity available. I use it with a Razer Blade and a multi-monitor setup that includes a high-refresh-rate OLED display, and it makes connecting everything much cleaner than using several separate adapters and cables. USB devices have been reliable, transfers are fast, and I haven’t had issues with devices randomly disconnecting. Build quality is also excellent. The dock feels substantial, matches the rest of my Razer setup well, and the Chroma lighting is a nice touch without being necessary. The main reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the price. Thunderbolt 5 is still relatively new, and most people probably don’t need this much capability. If you only need a basic dock for a couple of monitors and USB accessories, there are much cheaper options. But if you have a powerful laptop, multiple displays, fast external storage, or want something that should remain useful for several years, this dock makes much more sense. Overall, it has been a strong upgrade to my setup and I would recommend it to someone who will actually take advantage of Thunderbolt 5.

Works very well. The M2 slot may as well be internal storage. I had my M2 drive in a different Thunderbolt 4 enclosure. Transferring the drive to this dock was seamless. I can just move the cable from my Macbook to my work Windows laptop and that works very well too. I am using this with a Thunderbolt (usb c) to HDMI adapter going to my LG C2 TV and I'm getting 120 hz HDR.

I was able to get it to work for the first day but it started disconnecting and then stopped working all together. I did a little trouble shooting to make sure the issue wasn't me. After bringing it to BB and the Geek Squad did their trouble shooting they confirmed it was bad. BB returned it and ordered a replacement which is why I buy from BB and not Amazon. The only reason I would recommend this product is that it did work great the first day. Lemons happen but my review will not be so easily turned to a negative one. Plus my other Razer (Taratus 2) products have worked like champs.
