I could tell that these headphones were awkward on my head when I first put them on. I play pc games for hours on end, so I need a pair of headphones that I forget I'm wearing. The weight of these headphones are too much for me. After wearing these for a little while, my ears started hurting at the tops. Other than comfort, the sound of these headphones are phenomenal. I haven't had any problems with the microphone, other than I wish it had voice playback. I feel like the retractable microphone is flimsy and will give out first, although my geek squad protection would cover that. My last complaint is that the in-line mic control doesn't control voice and game volume separately. I'm returning these to try out the steelseries siberia v2 frost blue edition. They are supposed to be extremely comfortable, and that's my biggest need. If they don't work, I will dish out the money to try the astro a40 headset. The logitech g930 would be my second choice, but I prefer wired headsets.

Was never a razer fan until now, thought they were overrated. After trying this headset i have completely changed. Comfortable for hours of online gaming and music listening. Bass is unbelievable does get a bit too bassy at times. Sound quality of mic is good or so I'm told by friends. Only concern I have is the mic's durabilty, doesn't seem as if it will withstand alot of pulling it in and out of headset when not in use and how it clicks up. But havent had any issues as of yet just a concern.

I've had both the turtle beach px22 and the pdp afterglow, and the tiamat is by far the most comfortable I have worn. The sound quality is great. The only thing that would be a drawback is that they aren't wireless.

I have owned the Tiamat 2.2 for more than a month and it has been performing great. This product is a great upgrade from the Razer Carcharias What makes it a great upgrade for me is that it can pick up my voice better despite slightly more noise than the Carcharias but all in great. The Tiamat has auto-adjusting headbands that adjust to the size and shape of my head so I never have to adjust it ever! Leather pads can get warm sometimes but it hasn't bothered me and listening to games and music is great. Having that sub-woofer and the 2 speakers in each can just helps separate sound and be that great hidden 2.1 speaker system that won't wake up anyone in the house. If you want this headset to work great and loud, try getting a sound card with a sound amplifer like the Asus DG. That really made a difference to how loud these cans can go! All in all, a good headset that finally stopped my shopping journey...maybe haha. Look forward to seeing this headset improved in the future!

I actually picked this up today. I didn't know the mic was retractable, so for the first hour or so the mic was in it's slot. After I extended it the quality got 10x better than what it was, which was already good. Amazing purchase for a gamer.

I got a pair of Razer Tiamat 2.2's. They are magnificent. I picked them up from Best Buy a couple years back and are still going strong and sound amazing. They never fail me and when I need to use my sound to my advantage over the others, I can count on my Tiamats to give me the Razer advantage over the other players.
I strongly suggest Razer products to anyone who wants the advantage.

So far, I'd only had one issue, the top of my head seems to become sore after extended periods of time. I'm not entirely sure if it's just me, but hey, the sound is excellent and my voice comes in loud and clear during in-game chats.

When I purchased this headset when I built my PC, it was amazing. Sound was great, and mic worked well. Well, it's been a month since I've owned it and the mic makes everything I say sound like I have a bag over my head. I might have gotten a faulty pair, but I would not recommend it.

It's an amazing headset but the only problem I would have with it is the padding on the ears it's a little uncomfortable.

I purchased these after my turtle beach headset broke. I have a Razer mouse and keyboard and figured this would be a nice addition. They were very comfortable as soon as I put them on, however after using them for about 30 minutes my ears started to hurt. After an hour I had to take them off because of the amount of pain I was in. There is no way to adjust them and have tried them on a few different positions on my head and every one of them is just as uncomfortable over time. I am returning them tomorrow for the Kraken set which is supposed to be more comfortable.

My set went bad in under 4 months, working with their support dept has been slow, painful and I still dont have an answer from them. If you have to have these Buy the extended warranty it will be worth it
