Lightweight, fast, doesnt miss a click!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been using the Razer Ouroboros for many years and although it works perfect, I needed a new mouse that a bit lighter and responded better. On top of all that, I really wanted to get back to a wired mouse and not have to keep recharging. It was a great match, its been almost a month now and I couldnt be happier. Synapse 3 works very easy when it comes to set up and configurations. It does navigate and work a lot faster than 2. The Chroma adds a bit of color, but doesnt overpower the mouse itself. Just to let anyone know, you do not, I repeat, do not need the software. There are 5 preset speeds that are loaded already. Choice is yours, but its refreshing to see a company do that for us gamers. I prefer software. Anyways, excellent mouse. Speed, light, very very responsive. I would say one thing (not even negative), if you have bigger hands, DO NOT GET THIS. Medium to small hands, will work well. Large hands will claw this and it will get uncomfy.

Great mouse for gamers.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Razer Viper with the optical switches for quite a while. I wanted to simply share my impressions of this super fast mouse. It has Razer’s new optical/mechanical a Switch. For 70 million clicks. The Razer’s 5G optical sensor with 99.4% Accuracy is fast and precise. It’s ambidextrous and light (69 grams). You also will love Razer’s a speed flex cable. If you didn’t know better it feels like a wireless mouse. There are 8 programmable buttons. The DPI button is located underneath. At first I didn’t know if I would like that, but it avoids accidental DPI switches during intense gameplay. The Viper can store 3 profiles onboard memory. Comfort wise, the Viper is a lower profile than the Mamba, but it all depends on your hands. I have medium large hands so I liked how the mouse feels, but this will be more subjective based upon what you are use to and if you feel the mouse is comfortable for long gaming sessions. I’ve played 4-6 hours straight using the Viper with Modern Warfare, Black Ops 4, and Overwatch. The mouse is pretty phenomenal. I would definitely go somewhere to try it out and to confirm if the mouse feels right for you.

Great lightweight mouse without compromises
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great ambidextrous shape and maintains light weight without the holes that other mice resort to. The cable is very flexible and you can't even feel it when using the mouse. The lighting is fine and the sensor is top notch.

I Returned it, but Most People Won't
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A fantastic mouse- all things considered. It's light. It's ambidextrous. It has a nice cable. The feet are smooth. The scroll wheel is nice. The reason I returned this mouse was because of the shape. It was just a little too small for me personally. I have wide hands at 17x10, and this thing was just a little too uncomfortable for me. Most people will love it, and I'm not going to stop recommending it for people that want a good Razer mouse.

This is a great mouse.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great mouse. It's lightweight and easily glides over a mousepad. The clicks feel great. The DPI was at the perfect setting for me out of the box, but you can also adjust it very easily. The RGB logo looks great. The side buttons are also positioned in a great spot. The only bad thing is that the plastic may feel a little cheap, but this didn't bother me at all. I got it on sale for $39.99 on one of their early Black Friday sales. I can definitely say this mouse is worth it for $40, and it's probably worth it for the regular list price of $80 too.

Great mouse for any skill level.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Razer Viper is sleek, lightweight, and has a comfortable ambidextrous design that I'm a huge fan of. Although slender, it's a very long mouse which feels great to handle for anyone like me with super long fingers, no more hand cramps from a tiny mouse! The button on the bottom that changes DPI settings is a nifty little feature and the programmable side buttons are a Razer staple! With how light it is it takes some time getting used to, but once you get a feel for it it makes it so much easier to maneuver and help with spray patterns or the like. Definitely worth the price tag.

Improved ARPG overall gameplay
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn't think a gaming mouse would make a vast improvement in ARPG gameplay. It's lightness and responsiveness makes gameplay more consistent, smooth and efficient. The RGB is a nice touch visually when not being used. The Razer Viper also makes a pretty good mouse for traveling due to the weight and size. My biggest concern with mice in general is the durability of the left click button and so far the Viper has met my expectations for an excellent ARPG mouse.

Great gift idea
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to use and for a great price. I bought this as a “why not” purchase since one of my old mice had a dirty sensor and I didn’t feel like cleaning it myself and it hasn’t disappointed so far. It’s very light and has a lower profile than the Logitech G703 for instance, the wire is good quality, and despite the weight and plastic construction feels sturdy and like it could stand up to most any beating you could give it. Great gift idea for the price!

Great value Gaming Mouse for under $50
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very lightweight mouse and good for a mouse that is under $50. Mouse clicks are okay, but the rubber sides are perfect. The braided cable makes it pretty nice as well. An actual ambidextrous mouse with Mouse4 and Mouse5 on both sides. You can customize the lighting through Synapse, but it only works with the application open, which is the downside. It doesn't matter too much since the default color change is good enough.

Great Mouse for Gaming
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though I don't have lightning fast reflexes (so the speed & light weight of the mouse are not critical for me), I find that I like everything about this mouse. The buttons all (including scroll wheel) have good tactile feed back and the mouse is very comfortable when gaming for long periods. Of course the RGB lighting is nice as well. The only thing I would have changed (if my opinion were solicited) would be to have the side buttons protrude a little more but they are fine as is.

feels good to use
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was upgrading from an amazon basic mouse and just the feel alone was worth the money. To be fair i did get it at half off at my local store, but I wouldn't fault anyone for buying it at full price. It is very responsive and very light, but not too light where it has bad balance. I'm not a big fan of the lighting software and found it cumbersome. Other than that it feels premium and fits my hand (about 6.5 in long) very well.

My ladys first mouse
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I asked her if she had anything to say about the mouse and she said "i dont know, what are you gonna say". So overall its a pretty good mouse. Feels lighter and easier on the hand than the basilisk v1 & v2, Though if you like extra thumb buttons for gaming you may want something with more thumb buttons unless you're a monster with the keyboard.

Light and Fast
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At only 69 grams its as light as a feather, doesn't even feel like i have a mouse sometimes as I can throw it around so easily with just two fingers. Also the optical switch does feel faster (don't know how but it does). The only thing I don't really like are the buttons on the side because I can't comfortably use them, your milage may vary though.

Great responsive mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mouse feels great to hold and move and feels very light. Clicks feel very responsive too. The RGB is only on the logo, which gives it more of an understated look if that's your thing. Personally I do wish there was more on RGB present on it like on the mousewheel or sides. The $20 mouse I had before spoiled me with nice RGB lights like that, but this one still looks great. I love that I can sync the RGB with my razer ecosystem.

Mouse is nice, clicks are too heavy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse is lightweight and responsive, something lacking from a lot of other mice. The cable is long, light, and thin, so it won't become a problem when gaming. However, the clicks on this mouse are really heavy, probably because of the infrared laser clicks. I would like to see this fixed, as it is difficult to tell when it clicks and when it doesn't. The mouse is very thin compared to most other mice, so that will take a few days to get used to. I hope Razer makes the clicks lighter than normal, but otherwise, this mouse is great.

One of the best mice this world has seen
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly this is the best mouse that ive ever used. Ive used many mice for gaming. For example Steelseries Rival 600, Razer Mamba Elite, HyperX Alloy Fps Pro, Logitech G502. And the Razer Viper (atleast for my hand) is the most ergonomic for my grip (fingertip grip). The mouse is so light, the sensor is so amazing, and the rubberside grips are pretty good,
