It is an FPS/lightweight mouse dream. After purchasing this yesterday after getting home I was able to get it set up and give it a try. Going from a Steelseries Apex 3 lightweight wireless mouse to this it is just so much better. It is about 15 grams lighter, and you can definitely feel the difference no doubt. It is so responsive and smooth that I went into Kovaks aim trainer and I quickly set some personal bests with this mouse. The grip took some adjusting to because of the coating on the mouse is a bit rougher than most but it is not that much of a big deal. Although if you are coming from a Logitech GPX superlight then it will take some adjusting for the texture differences of the mouse. Once you get past this though and if you dont have a problem with more rough texture then it almost feels like an extension of your hand. I had no problem tracking targets in Apex, Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Fortnite. I do recommend some sensitivity adjustments because of how light it is if you previously had a 70g plus mouse. I also would recommend some glass skates to improve the tracking feel. Overall, it is indeed a spectacular mouse and if you are looking for alternative to Logitech's GPX superlight mouse or Steelseries Ultra-light mouses I would highly recommend this mouse.

Bought this a couple months ago for gaming and I absolutely LOVE it!! Use it daily and honestly forget it’s wireless as it rarely needs to charge. The feel is great and is responsive. Definitely recommend.

Im amazed at its battery life and amazed how responsive it is despite it being wireless. Always used wired my whole life but switching was so easy since theres basically no latency

Razer - Viper V2 Pro Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse Worthy change from weighted gaming mice… worth a try if you are a serious gamer! This is a change from my previous gaming mouse, which had RGB lighting, with lots of bells and whistles including weights to add for customization. First thing noticed was the very light weight of the V2 – which is a very nice change and no problem with long gaming sessions. Second thing noticed was the responsiveness, which has no lag issues – very nice for a wireless mouse. Third thing noticed was the excellent battery life, which for me excuses the “missing” RGB which I presume extends the battery life. The mouse can be connected USB for battery charging and a direct connection, but neither one is needed except for the occasional battery re-charge. Once you get to gaming, the lights on the mouse are inconsequential and the gaming performance is what really matters. There is not a constant display of the battery level on the mouse, and you have to go digging to get it – but this is not a major issue since the battery lasts for quite a while in between charges. Setup is easy, and no issues with connection to the computer. There is a “pre-set” button on the mouse to quickly change the DPI if needed when switching games or going from gaming to browsing. Also an app to customize most everything about the mouse if you like. Status display for the mouse doesn’t specify the DPI setting you are using – which would be nice to have for quick reference. Not a major issue, just a bit odd since the feature of DPI switching with a button doesn’t show you what DPI you are using. One difference that I would like to have is an option to change the mouse wheel from smooth to clicky when scrolling, as this is something I am used to and takes some time to adjust to an always-smooth mouse wheel. Overall this is actually a refreshing change from a heavier weighted gaming mouse, and one of those things that you might not appreciate until you start using an ultra-light gaming mouse. Razer bills it's Viper V2 Pro as an ambidextrous design, but in reality due to side button placement, this is effectively a right handed mouse. It's great as a wireless mouse. Stayed charged for me at least 22 hours. I charged it after that, though it still had plenty of life left. It's nice to have a USB-C port, makes cable management easy. This is a highly responsive gaming mouse, but really mostly for FPS and Battle Royale games. You'll most likely want something else with more buttons for MOBA, MMO/MMORPG games. The Viper V2 Pro has a good feel to it, with positive mouse button click feel/feedback. The included grip tape lets you customize where you want/need your grip the most. While anyone can use it, fingertip grip style people will especially love it. It's also good as an everyday mouse. Which is where it lost part of a star for me, If I could rate 4.5 I would. When using the scroll wheel to get through documents and such for work, it would intermittently stop scrolling for a few seconds. It didn't happen in game, however it's concerning. Strictly rating it on gaming only, a 5 all the way. My only gripe is that due to it's light weight, the mouse feels fragile or like it won't last. The low weight is a major benefit for those who want the lightest wireless mouse they can get. Hard to go wrong with one of these as your mouse.

I love the new mouse. The battery life is great and the feel is great. I am right handed so that works for me. The on mouse buttons all work well and the wheel is the best wheel I have found on a newer mouse. I am not a fan of cheaper feeling mice or plasticky wheels, this is very tactile but not clunky. The specs say RGB lighting but the only light I saw was a green power light. I like that it comes with both a cable and the USB dongle. The cable could have a slightly better feel to it but that is not why we get these high end portable mice. It is great for gaming and very responsive. I did not notice a difference during game play or normal usage between being wired or wireless. It is nice that the battery charges whenever it is being used with the wire. Unless you need a lot of pretty colors or are left handed then this is probably the best gaming mouse available. I did not get a chance to run the battery out after a full charge. I am very happy with this mouse for both work and gaming.
