I purchased this unit at the end of April, ahead of the hot part of the season, to avoid the usual run on air conditioners. I didn't have to start using it until mid-June when it got hot. The room I'm trying to cool is about 300 sqft, but on the third floor, where it does get hot. The BTU rating should be enough for a room that size. I've run this unit on days where the temperature got up to low to mid 80s and after 5 hours of running it set at 75 degrees, the room temperature is only at 88 degrees. The air blowing from the vents feels cold, but it can't cool the room. I used the Chat to speak to a Best Buy agent, but was informed the return policy only allows 15 days to return an item! She said her hands were tied and there was nothing that she could do. I'm stuck with a crap product that can only manage to maintain an 85-90 degree room temperature. My next major purchase will surely not be with Best Buy.

We have a difficult room to cool. The sun beats down most of the day on the primary wall. This has worked great when window unit has failed. Its easy set- up & operate. Love that it has casters. I was skeptical at first because reviews tell me a lot. However, I took a chance and I'm glad I did. I'm ready to purchase another one for my living room.
