I programmed according to instructions and got it to work with my sanyo tv.....to a degree. It would turn the tv off and on but wouldn’t change channels or control volume. I tried all of the codes for Sanyo and tried the search option as suggested in the instructions but nothing worked. I then tried it with another tv, Craig brand, and it didn’t work for that one either. I have one more tv to try it on and then it’s being returned if it doesn’t work. It says in the instructions that not all features will work for all TVs. Well why would anyone want a remote with limited functionality?

We found an old vcr player, but it had no remote. This universal remote worked well.

Lost original remote and bought this one for specific brand of tv that I have.

replace the tv remote. took a while to program it. once programed didn't work right away. had to reset the remote several times. the volume down doesn't work. but will turn on and off TV.

I bought this as a replacement for a missing TV remote. Despite having numerous codes for Phillips, none of them worked on the model of TV I have. Good quality and it looks like it works with most other items but not the one I needed it for.

I gave this as a gift for Christmas; have not heard any complaints yet.

The antenna works well, but I did not get all the channels I had before.

Needed to replace a lost tv remote. This item fit the bill perfectly. Easy to sinc to our tv, and best of all the price was very reasonable for our needs.

Doesn't have a last channelo button. Otherwise a great price.

I wanted one remote that controlled everything. It was not possible to program everything in this remote and I needed to return it. It may have been because I needed a sound bar for the sound.

Bought for simple keyed remote to support new Insignia TV for technically challenged senior family member. After following directions as provided entered every code for new TV model supplied in the remote instructions as well as those supplied for that manufacturers remote in the TV's manual and never functioned. Returned remote.

This remote will work OK if you just need a basic remote. I's not very durable though. After a while the buttons don't work very well.

The remote was for an elderly person with fine motor skill difficulty and vision impairment. With the larger buttons and few "extra" buttons, it has worked very well. The price was reasonable.

I have a similar RCA unit that is excellent. For this unit, the on-off button and the "up" functions for sound and channel would all work but the "down" functions for sound and channel would not work. Returned. This review is for this unit only and is probably not representative. My other RCA unit has provided excellent service. I have purchased an RCA unit as a replacement.
