I previously bought a universal remote for it and it wasn't compatible. I was very please when my RCA remote worked!

Works best for sound bar, not as well for TV, etc.

It works best with the Samsung sound bar, not as well with the Samsung TV and blue ray player. TV gets into the wrong mode and no eject for the blue ray player. Like it for the sound bar as the remote that came with it was terrible, draining the expensive batteries.

Decent product for the price

My primary reason to buy the RCA universal remote was to replace the TVs original remote which was very small and without backbit. This remote has handy shape and easy to use buttons. The only down side I observe with the remote is, you have to point it straight towards the TVs IR sensor to make it work specially when you are operating it from more than 10 meters away.
