The 120hz isn't correct but otherwise it's a great tv for how inexpensive it was at the time no smart bs or cameras watching you classically good led

Love the picture, but buy a separate sound system.

This TV has been very easy to use. I had the TV out of the box, base attached, plugged in and playing a Blu-Ray movie in less than 5 minutes.
I find the picture and clarity outstanding. I have nothing but wonderful things to say there. There isn't a single dead pixel. I love it.
The sound, like most all thin TVs is tinny, with very little happening in the bass department. It's not a dealbreaker for me now, but I'm surely going to be investing in sound as soon as I can.

I knew what the weaknesses of this TV were before i even bought it. The standard audio speakers are horrible, but the majority of flat screen LED are like this. This T.V. doesnt have picture in picture, which is a bummer for me. and the other weakness is that this T.V doesn't play all media at 120hz. Als,o the fram is laquered with a gloss that reflects outside light, this can be annoying on a sunnyday or when you have a light source. With all of that being said, let me focus on the Greatness that this T.V has to offer.
What I love the most is that the picture at 1080p and 720p are absolutely Perfectl. There is so much clarity and detail in my videogames and movies! I can clearly see individual sand grains on beaches, the fine texture weaves on dresses, suits. and even the slightest scars, blemishes, uneven foundation on movie actors!! yes! you can actually see the fine foundation on closeup stars and even see their pores. Blue Ray provides even more detail. The shadows displayed are purely black and with very minor white lighting.
With my videogames, graphics look stunning both with my 360, PS3 and my computer. you can easily hook up all 3 systems to the 4 HDMI provided. it is just a matter of plugging it in and you are set. The audio output allows me to hook up my Turtle beach headphones directly to the T.V. this allows me to play HDMI while letting chat with online friends and listen to the game.
Everysingle game i play is maxed out to its finest resolution, and shadows in the game are extremely detailed in darkness. Scary games feel more scarrier since I cant even see throught those dark spots.
Although the built in audio is horrible, you can easily buy a solid surround sound audio and install it with simplicity. The built in equalizer aides in finding the perfect sound. the other features in this T.V. are average, not great but average. they give you enough to find the best audio output and video clarity. Though, I looooooove the sharpness that this tv offers it is at times to advanced for most games! this
overall i give this t.v a 4.8 out of 5 stars. Minus points for the horrible audio and the lack of 120hz for all media. ++++ for picture quality and the equalizer for audio.

I got this TV last week as a TV for my bedroom, main TV is in the living room. The box it came in came damaged and TV had a crack on the frame so will get a replacement. I still had time to hook it up and the picture is nice but only qualm is that it take a minute for the picture to come in clear. I'm not sure if this is normal or it the TV is damaged.
There are not too many features but expected this for the price. It does have essentials like USB connection, PC connection and 4 HDMI. The sound is not as good as on my Sony Bravia but it's OK and I read a lot of flatscreens don't sound good.
Bottom line is that it is a good TV if you don't need all the bells and whistles.

"Sound Quality" is a deal breaker

I bought this as a "online only" purchase through Best Buy as this RCA model was not available for demo in the Best Buy stores. With only a couple of online reviews to go on, I decided to take a chance on it at the sale price of $499. In reviewing different thin TVs around this size and price range, I noticed that some makes/models have an issue with the sound quality. But when I hooked this RCA at home I found the sound quality to be totally unacceptable. I adjusted the bass and treble, but it made little difference. I did integrate external audio (receiver and external speakers) and the audio was good with the external components, but with a price of $499 - $579 I don't think you should have to use external components to get acceptable audio. While I found the "Picture Quality" and "Features" to be "good", I'm returning the TV to Best Buy today based on very poor "Sound Quality".

I got this TV for my room after having only a 27" for years. I went with this due to the price and I like it. Picture is good. Sound is pretty clear.
The only bad thing I can say about the TV is the volume control, and by this I only mean that when you turn up the volume there is sometimes a huge jump in volume between numbers (2-3 for example will go from soft to loud as if skipping a number or 2).

PICTURE QUALITY IS WORSE THAN REEL TO REEL,
MOST THE TIME IT RUNS IN 480P/I AT 60HRZ OR LESS
EVEN PLUGED INTO BLURAY W/HDMI CABLE IT RUNS 720P @60HRZ
SO EVEN A SLOW FIGHT SEEN ITS FUZZY AND BLURS.
THE SOUND IS WORSE, THEY USED THE SAME SPEAKERS FROM
A CHEEP PAIR OF HEADPHONES AND THEN LIMITED THE MAX VOLUME. THERE ARE FEW FEATURES MOST THAT MAKE SETTINGS EVEN WORSE IF POSSIBLE? AND NONE THAT MAKE THE TV EASYER TO USE
ACUALLY 0 STARS BUT IT WONT LET ME.
TOOK THE TV BACK THE NEXT DAY.
THANK YOU BEST BUY FOR HASSLE FREE RETURN!

TV is great so far. Only received it just before Christmas. So far we are really happy with this purchase. Great value for the price. Free shipping was a real plus.
