Did not work out the way it claims to. first when you hook it up to the antenna part of the TV that part went good . then to find out you had to plug it into a wall , so then you need an extension cord because the plug wasn’t by the wall that we needed and then to find out that no matter how you put the antenna arms or what they’re called., and you place the antenna close to the TV , or by your window , you’re still not getting your channels. it’s coming up. Signal strength too low. So instead of getting aggravated day after day trying to do this I gave up and it’s time to go back to the store , and I’ll look for another one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Hello nancyb - We understand how frustrating this experience has been. It may help to know that the FCC website shows does show predicted signal strength at your location. However those measurements are taken at a height of 30 feet with no obstructions, so real-world results inside a home can vary due to walls, distance from the towers, trees, and other environmental factors. The ANT310E is also a directional antenna, which means it needs to be aimed toward the specific broadcast towers you’re trying to receive. After each adjustment, a new channel scan must be performed through your TV’s menu for the changes to take effect after placing it in its' new location. Depending on your location and the direction of the towers around you, a multi-directional antenna may actually be a better fit.
