Did not work for me

I have tried two longer range indoor antennas for a vacation house in Western Massachusetts. I knew it would be a stretch to get any signal with these antennas, and unfortunately neither one worked for me. I am giving this three stars only because it's not necessarily the antennas fault that I don't get any signal where I live. Checking online it said I might get one or two stations in Western Mass, but I didn't, but, it also only pulled in about 30 stations at my main house, where it was predicted to pick up about 50.

I purchased this to use at our vacation house where I just wanted to have reception of one or two channels to watch the news in the evenings. Unfortunately it did not pick up any channels at all. I also tried this at our primary residence which is in a suburban area, but it only picked up about 75 to 80% of the channels that were predicted by the cord-cutting website I used, so I was a little disappointed by that. If you live near a decent-size metropolitan area and just need some channels, this will do the trick for you.

I'm about 45 miles from TV stations, this antenna can get the main networks (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC) but not all with it positioned in one spot. In other words, placed in one position it gets some, in another position it gets others. Fox and Abc are the most difficult. But it's ok, just have to move it around which makes attaching it to wall not doable cuz you may need to adjust it to get certain channels. Ok for the price. I think everyone will have different results, so try it. If it doesn't work well, return it.

This antenna was so easy to set up - just plug it in and start the channel search. Received many more channels than just the 3 major networks!

Purchased for TV in extra bedroom to get the local channels. Overall great reception on the channels it does pick up, but for some reason does not get all local network stations. If it did (could be just my location), then i would have given it 5 stars.

Okay antenna. Able to receive more channels than just with a wire but still glitches like the wire antenna.

It works well in my trailer close to windows. I got a few channels very clear all night. I was hoping for a little more channels. easy to set up and use.

A good alternative to cable or satellite TV

My TV was located in a 60+ year old concrete block home in a room that I just didn't want more wires run to it from the satellite box that I had my other 2 TVs hooked up to. The limited numbers of channels you can pick up is just right for a 3rd TV. Enough to watch something different than what others in the house are watching. For what I needed, it was perfect. If you don't watch a lot of TV, but want to watch the local stations without the monthly bill, it is fine.

I bought this because I was dissatisfied with a cheaper indoor antenna. I was hoping this more expensive (regular price) antenna would be a significant improvement. It wasn't. I live in an antenna shadow area. This antenna isn't the solution.

Easy to install. The antenna is amplified so it gets a better clearer picture. When i look at the picture, I cannot believe that I am looking at over air picture not cable. Great if you are trying to cut the cord. On the plus side, it is also paintable, so you can paint it any color to match your indoor color scheme.

I thought that I would get better reception with this antenna since it is powered but it is no better than the cheaper rabbit ears version that I already have.

This is an ideal antenna for me because I cut the cord and I’m getting good quality HD reception of several local OTA channels and a couple ME channels that are nearly 150 miles away, although the local ME channel is also showing the same programming so... yeah!

For ever we try to improve tv signal at our "beach house" far from any cable tv...we move the co-ax antenna from place to place to no avail. I just plugged this directly to tv and instant improvement in the signal. No more "no signal" notices dancing across the screen. Why didn't I think of buying one of these long ago?!?!

It was on sale and wanted to cut out cable bill. The Chanel's I get are quite good but of course weather outside is storming it does mess up signal. I have Netflix and Hulu. Good for the price
