To how it comes with an adapter for different microphones to slot or screw into. It sits perfectly level and I don't worry about the mic I have on it wobbling or at risk of falling over even when fully extended.

I've got a shotgun mic mounted on the stand that I use for video conferencing and also for voice over during video creation. The base is surprisingly heavy for its size and has a bit of a rubber ring on the bottom of the base that may dampen vibrations as no bumping or knocking the desk turns into audio noise. I can have this low and away so it's not in frame on video and I prefer this over a boom arm.

Quality build but not great for heavier mics

No complaints about the materials or look. But with a heavier mic, it struggles a bit to hold position and slowly sags. Might be fine for lighter setups, but keep that in mind before buying.

Not cheap, which had me hesitate for a minute ... but incredible quality, and you get what you pay for. Pairs perfectly with my PodmicUSB+ But it would work with any desktop application just right. Recommend!
