I am a filmmaker and I use this for a documentary. has to be one of the best lab mics. I’ve used paired with a DJI mic 2.

Great quality audio from the LAV mic. I trust anything RODE creates when it comes to professional audio. I originally intended to use these Lav mics on the Rode Wireless Go I and II. But now that I have transitioned over the the newer DJI Wireless Mics, I still use this lavalier on a different system and it's only one of the few mics out there that does not give any weird noises when paired with a wireless system. It's a bit more on the pricey side compared to other lavs, but to me its worth it.

I have a Canon T2i and wanted better sound quality when filming a video. The Rode Lavalier Go mic picks up the voice quite clearly. For a Lavalier, it's good at minimizing background noise. Another reason I chose this mic is that its connector fits the DSLR camera microphone input, which requires a TRS(3 pole) connector. Be aware that microphone has only a 4-foot cable that it's not in the product description. It's rather short to connect directly to the DSLR camera. I believe this microphone is meant to go with the RODE wireless system. I purchased an extension cable to solve the problem.

The wireless rode go microphone is a very versatile, high end little package. Not only does it have great sound but it has a strong signal the can reach very very far. One unique feature is The receiver can be used as the mic itself or you can add this additional mic extension which is great for moving around and being active while recording. The receiver can clip somewhere safe or even go in a pocket while the mic extension clips on your shirt or lapel. It is a bit pricey and not all other mics can work with this specific model but again the versatility makes this mic a very good option.

We used these lavs on a small commercial shoot. Plugged them into the Rode Wireless Go II which transmitted the live audio to the Rode receiver plugged into my camera. As long as the actors or talent kept their voice levels at a reasonable level, the Rode lavs do a commendable job in clean audio. The audio can be cleaned up in post, if necessary. I am not sure if it's my Sony camera's preamp or the Rode lavs, but if the actors talked too loudly, there was distortion (naturally). I made sure that both Rode transmitters had levels of -12 dbs (recommended by Rode) and the camera's audio level set at about 13-14. Occasionally the audio peaked. I am not an expert on recording live audio, though I have experience. Best bet is to experiment with the recording levels on both the Rode lavs and camera. These are very good lav mics overall.

While I wouldn't necessarily recommend these for filmmaking, they are absolutely perfect for TikToks paired with the RODE Wireless GO II mic system. Super easy to use and great sound for the price.

Love rhode mics and this one, being wired, saved my budget production when i needed to mic an interview.

Easy to use. Clear audio. Easy to conceal. Great core length

Great mic. Omni directional, it works well, but isn't great for PC gaming, which is what I wanted it for. It picks up keyboard noise and other background noise. As a lav mic, it works very well - clear audio.

Makes a great product even better! RODE Wireless go is amazing without the lav, but adding this gives you a more pro look and picks up a little more/better sound. It's definitely more than other wired lav mics, but I have the confidence this will make me sound even better. Picking up a 2nd white one for when I wear lighter shirts.

Really liked rather than having a bulky box on my shirt doing videos. Was light and versatile.

Used these on a couple of film sets and they sounded great! Though I feel the price of these could be lower.

The Lavalier Go pairs well with the Wireless Go and is easy to conceal with Rycote UnderCovers, although the included clip works as just fine as well. Sound quality is good for the price and convenient to pick up as my local Best Buy stocks them.

Great sound quality, but you'll really need the Rode Wireless GO Compact Wireless Microphone System. The cable is not really long enough to use from very far away unless you are using with a smartphone, etc. or are close to your camera or whichever device your using it with.
