There are a multitide of microphone boom mounts on the market, and most of them will get the job done fairly well. This product hit that same vein, unbox it, mount your mic, clean up your cables, and it just sits there. Its great. The real benefit of hogh quality is the fact that I haven’t once found myself thinking about the stand itself since installing. No worries, no frustrations, no hassle. It just…works. Every other stand i’ve owned has made it 2-3 uses before i had something to gripe about; this one, I more often find myself surprised at how well it accomplishes the most basic of basic functions while being well designed aesthetically and functionally.

I didn’t know I could love a mic arm so much. I’ve had a cheap mic arm in the past and it was noisy, and wouldn’t hold its place. The PSA1+ is silent and won’t budge unless you move it. I love it!

First time buying a "pricey" mic stand. I watched a lot of youtube reviews and so far this was the best option. Great quality, motility. The only aspect I didn't like was the big logo, but this is something that you can remove.

I've had this for about a month now, and i have to say it's the best boom arm I've ever had. It's very durable, easy to set up, and moves around where you need it to. If i needed another boom arm or a friend needed one i would definitely recommend this one. It is pricy for a boom arm, but it is worth its weight in gold.

An absolutely amazing boom arm. It has smooth movement for ease of use. You can feel a small amount of resistance for stability but once you move it, it feels incredibly satisfying. There are clips on the arm themselves to attach your cables/XLR cable for easy wire management compared to other arms where they may come with velcro straps instead. My only issue is when combining this with the Shure SM7B the XLR cable hits the adjustment knobs when trying to turn the microphone but it's definitely manageable.

This is exactly what I needed for my stream setup! One of the best purchases I have made. It makes my stream sound that much more professional!

If there’s such a thing as perfect in the world of boom arms, the RODE PSA1+ is it! It’s a solid product that’s packed well and took me only five miniatures to set up on my desk. It’s stated that it holds up to a 3.7 pound mic - I believe my Shure MV7 is around 2 pounds and it works awesomely with it! This RODE mic stand has cleared clutter and facilitates everything I do for podcasting and live streaming! A must-have for those who love podcasting and live streaming! I’m also grateful it came with the 5/8 inch attachment as well. I was in business instantly! For the price, It’s very difficult to be its value.

This mic arm is soooooo smooth and quiet. FAR better than the one I purchased on Amazon. That purchase made it to where I can truly have an appreciation for this product. The protective sleeve and its overall perfomance is chefs kiss!
