A Solid Case Worth Your Consideration

Seems a solid case, especially for only $20. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now. Their is a slight gap between the sides of the Switch 2 and the sides of the case, but with the center stand/game case holder Velcroed down well, it fits snugly with no slide or wiggle. I do have long-term concerns about the Velcro strap, as this wore out on my RDC Switch 1 case over time and lost its tension.
The materials all feel nice and well-made. It has storage compartments for up to 12 games and comes with two microSD card containers. It does NOT come with two game card cases as advertised (Best Buy, please update the product features AND add some pictures of the inside). The inserts for game cards are nice and tight and hold cards super snugly. It has little foam adapters that make it also usable with the Switch 1, which is a nice perk. The zipper is buttery smooth and opens easily, without feeling like it will come open on its own.
It DOES have a recessed bottom insert, but it DOES NOT fit a Joy-Con as advertised (again Best Buy, please update the product features). It will fit a sold-separately RDC game case. Right now, I am using it to hold the plastic things with the strap that come with the Joy Con 2s. The adjustable stand is a nice touch if you end up using this case with a Switch 1, but it is an unnecessary feature for the Switch 2 because of its improved stand.

RDS Industries Deluxe Travel Case Switch 2 Review

I was set on buying another Switch 2 case at Best Buy (In-store). Realized this new case came out and was exact same price as the 1 I intended to purchase. Pros: 1. Rough, hard exterior. 2. Flap covering the screen. 3. Zipper is easy, smooth to use. 4. 12 slots for game cards. 5. Official Nintendo product with a 2 yr warranty as well. Cons: 1. None I can find.
Overall verdict: Case is worth $20 + 2 yr warranty=No brainer. Must purchase.
It's a must buy if you're considering protecting your $500+ Switch 2.

Great protective case with a semi hard shell. Securely holds my switch 2 and doesnt put pressure on any components. It’s also fits my Savage Raven Stand Grip while it’s on the Switch 2!

Not too shabby. I cut up the white foam piece that keeps the case shape during shipping. Cut it to hold 24 more games in the game case(sold separately) spot. I didn't wanna spend 10 doll hairs more for it, so I made my own.

I had to do some intense traveling this summer. With my BT controllers tucked away, I needed a cas that would protect my joy cons from unfortune stick drift, and a case that could protect the screen, even with a screen protector applied. This case gets the job done.

I’ve always needed a Switch 2 case with a handle, but it was that and much more! Worth every penny!

I had an RDS case for my Switch Lite and was delighted to find one for my Switch 2. I love this case, and I feel confident that my Switch is well-protected. I measured the case at about 2.4" tall, a bit thicker than my Lite version. At first I was a little worried about the extra bulk, but I actually like that there's a little more room inside the case because I know the top isn't pressing down on the joysticks or the screen, even with the thick stand that folds over the screen. The console and joycons are well-supported, and there are recesses underneath them for storing a couple small items like the joycon straps and the separate plastic game cart holders (not included). Personally, I prefer to use the cartridge slots embedded in the stand. The areas underneath the joycons are recessed at the top (where the triggers are) and the bottom (I think to accomodate small grips). Some people have expressed concerns about the console being too loose in the case; I don't see it. Yes, a bare console will wiggle slightly. But there really isn't much space for it to move around, and the case's built-in cover/stand will help keep it in place. The slightly loose fit also allows for thin protective shells/cases, like the one I use for my Switch. With that extra layer, it's a very snug fit, making it almost a little difficult to get the Switch out of the case. So I appreciate the wiggle room because it allows me to add an extra protective layer to my Switch, but a bare Switch should be just as secure in this case.

Needed a case last minute for an airplane flight so I picked this up with a $5 best buy gift card. So far I am quite pleased with this purchase. It holds my switch 2 quite snugly. Underneath it holds the little joycon connecter things and has a spot that can hold another game card case, either one specifically made for that space or, like in my case, one from an older switch case so you can hold more than 12 games or even something else. The case fit nicely into my backpack and the foldy bit does prop up the switch well, though probably more useful on switch 1 models with flimsier kickstands. Although I would've preferred a bigger case that holds the dock and cables as well, I definitely feel as if I got the entirety of my money's worth as I use this case constantly now

I bought a carrying case similar to this one alongside my original Switch, and I never had to replace it. The Switch 2 version of the case is larger, but just as solidly built and protects the screen just as nicely. Just a good all-around case for keeping your Switch 2 and pretty reasonably priced, too. Can't recommend enough for Switch 2 owners even if you're never going to use it on-the-go. You never know when you might want to store it outside the dock for some reason.

Well built, plenty of reinforcement for shock impact or squishing (ie forcing it into a suitcase), plenty of space for games and SD cards, also has extra space below the switch for stuffing random accessories like a small battery bank, charger, or travel controller.

This game card case strikes the perfect balance for any on-the-go gamer. It's not too small that you feel limited, but refreshingly not too big or bulky in your bag. The design is compact and sturdy, offering excellent protection. Crucially, it holds exactly the right amount of games—enough of your current rotation to cover any situation, but not so many that you're carrying your entire library.

This case feels premium, however there’s a little more space on the sides that allow the Switch 2 to shift from side to side a little. If it does do this, you can remedy it by placing something soft on one or both sides to help give it a bit of a tighter fit. Due to this, it doesn’t bother me so much as well as me having a screen protector on my Switch 2.

Its a good case that is sturdy and offers plenty of protection. I do think there was room for more games in the design and it has a piece of velcro i genuinly think is useless. Pretty good overall though.

This is might be the best case currently available for the Nintendo switch 2. Plenty of padding for protection and lots of game storage. Also includes two micro sd card cases. You really can't beat that for the low price of 20 usd. Thanks for another great product RDS you've done it again!

Excellent case for Switch 2. Has space for the Joy Con straps built in and space for game carts, but I put an extra USB cable inside (not enough space for the charger Switch comes with). Has slots for 12 games and can be used to make a stand inside as well.

nothing too crazy here, but that’s exactly what you want. It’s hard enough that won’t risk it getting dinged up in a backpack or during your day to day travels.

The case is really good for the price. It does a great job at protecting my switch 2 when I want to take it to a friends house.
