There are many variables that impact the efficacy of this product. It also dramatically decreases the visual aesthetics of your device if you don't keep it in a case. If you NEED something like this, as I did, review your options. Paying a bit more for a different type of range extension may be worth it.

Normally if we put our phones in the east window sills we can get texts to go through, so we thought this product may give us that extra boost to be able to get texts anywhere in the house, but it hasn't helped at all. Maybe it works for other people, but we're one of the few that it didn't.

Please rest assured that Reach Antenna is always working to strengthen your signal but know that you may not always see more “bars” on your phone screen - - so you may not realize what it is doing for you. The explanation is a bit technical, but your phone’s signal strength is measured in dB’s, and with the logarithmic (non linear) dB scale you can have a 2 dB improvement (which gives you a 1.5x signal improvement) while still not having the phone show an extra “bar”. This means that often times performance is seen when you have the ability to make and hold calls in areas where you were previously unable to. You may also see better battery life because the phone isn’t having to work as hard to find and hold a signal.

I tried the booster and it improved ever so slightly, however ATT is terrible in our house location and a couple spots in our neighborhood.

Do not buy - does not work

I get only 0-1 bar at work and although I go in with 100% battery charge the lack of bars means I come home on a good day 15% battery life or a dead phone. After 2 weeks nothing has changed I have not seen an increase in signal, I still get 0-1 bar at work and still get the 3 bars at home. I also went into a store that I have suffered dropped calls in and still get the dropped calls. Whats worse is that its does nothing to improve battery life I still come home with the same 15% or dead phone. This product does not do anything it claims it does. I honestly think the product is something that you would buy at Five Below or Dollar Tree store not at BestBuy and definitely not for $40!

Signal measurement with dB’s uses a logarithmic (non linear) scale, so you can have a 2 dB improvement (which gives you a 1.5x signal improvement) while still not having the phone show an extra “bar”. A one “bar” improvement equals a very big 10X improvement in you signal strength.

Posted .That is great that you saw a full bar increase in your phone’s signal with your Reach Antenna! Going from one bar to two bars is not a 100% increase though, it can mean up to a 10X increase in your signal strength! The reason for this is that your phone’s true signal strength is measured in dB’s (which use a non-linear scale like the earthquake scale) and then converted into the bars we all know and love. It A full bar increase requires up to 10 dB’s of improvement. A 10 dB increase in signal strength would equal a very big 10X signal improvement, so we think you are getting great performance!
