Expectations were high and this movie did not disappoint! The release could have been in 3D like at the theaters.

4K HDR is the only way to experience this, unless you also own 3D copy which was fun as well.

The movie earns 4 stars because when the characters are in the real world, the picture is very noisy. I understand that this might be to help audiences tell apart the virtual world from the real one. Still...

These aren't usually the type of movies I'm into but I give credit when credit is due. Great story, great CGI, all in all a movie to own especially if this genre is your thing.

Speilberg reaches back to his past and tries to recapture the fun of his old movies, but unless you're a big fan of video games and nostalgia, it's simply ok. It was fun to watch in the theater, but watching it again at home, I got a little bored and depressed seeing that the technology obsessed culture we live in is headed this way. I guess that makes it a pretty decent statement on the world. The extras are fine and the film looks good. Entertaining, but this isn't Raiders or E.T. level enjoyment, but really what is?
