Battery holds up for two whole days shooting event, last much longer than after market brands but much mire pricey.

Bought to have an extra insurance as another backup battery. Choice to use it in camera right from the start while on safari. This battery lasted for almost 2 weeks shooting thousands of RAW photos. I never even had to swap it out. The technology in canon batteries must have changed as his battery far exceeds life of other canon batteries. Still bring backups, but do yourself a favor and buy this one. It certainly minimizes the risk of the lost photo due to dead battery and subsequent swap while in the field.

The Cannon OEM batteries are expensive compared to the 3rd party alternatives. When reliability and length of service is important, it’s hard to beat the Cannon battery. I know what to expect using the OEM battery. When trying various cheaper 3rd party batteries, the quality and reliability has been all over the place. Ease of charging, length of charge and length of battery life have been disappointing. The quality control doesn’t seem to be consistent.

I obviously have to use this battery for my camera, but I've noticed that some batteries work better - or just last longer than others. Have all the same battery but I've noticed some of them just last longer than the other ones that I have. They charge pretty quickly which is really nice so that is the up-and-up.

If you find yourself needing a battery for your Canon camera that uses the LP-E6/LP-E6N battery, this is your best bet. Sure, you can pay less for something else, but do you want to risk a lower quality battery cutting out on you when you need your camera up and running for a shot? Probably not. Ultimately, it's a battery - and a Canon battery is your best bet for reliable performance with your expensive Canon DSLR - even if this battery is expensive too.

Lasts a long time. Very good battery. Used with the charger that has a plug attached to it. Charges quickly.

I have tried off brands and have been disappointed with the long term performance. My only negative is the price.

I would highly recommend getting a canon brand second battery for your shoots. I have used many off brands for backups when shooting videos, and the battery life and battery degradation is significantly different. After a year thr canon has simular charge and life. Off brands, two are completely dead, two take much longer to charge and charge lasts half as long. Dont skimp out and leave yourself in a bad position when you are mid shoot.

I’ve tried the fake non brand batteries in my canon camera and the canon ones seem to last longer, I have noticed that the older versions (older batches) don’t work with my new charger only my old previous one from canon 5d mark 2. I have the canon 5d mark 4 now as well. I have a few of these now because you never want to run out at a wedding or sometimes it’s nice to have an extra one on hand in case you forget to recharge one

I have tried third party batteries but find they do not last as long as OEM batteries. Since I like to travel light with my cameras, I would rather pay more and carry fewer batteries.

The Canon batteries are so much better than any of the after market that I have tried, so I purchased extra LP-6EN batteries for my Canon 5D IV. I currently rotate 6 of these. When I do a 1000 +/- shoot, I then carry three batteries with me, but only wind up using one full one - changing when it gets down below 30% - and part of the second one. The third one winds up as a safety net. All my shots are in raw.

I purchased this as a replacement for my seven year old battery. the original is still usable but I wanted a new one for an extended trip and used the old battery as a back up. The Original equipment Canon battery is much better than an aftermarket one that I purchased with the camera when new seven years ago. Better to purchase quality than save a little by purchasing an off market battery

These batteries are awesome! I have shot over 2000 photos on one battery forgot to change it at about 1/4 battery left and managed to shoot about another 1500 also side note I don’t like to turn my camera on and off while walking around shooting so the battery prolly had well over 8 hours on it not counting the times I forgot to turn my camera off and didn’t catch it until I got home.

I like to take a lot of rapid shots. After about 1300 the battery is about gone. It's nice to have a spare battery so you can keep shooting and finish out the day.

The battery works and is appropriate for my camera. Price was rather high though.

Long life battery. Charges quickly. I would recommend this battery

I have a Canon 5D mark III and I bought a spare generic brand battery (for back up) couple of years ago. Turns out, the battery only worked for a year and now won't charge anymore. So I decided to spend a little bit more and buy the original Canon battery for my camera. As you can assumed, it works perfectly and last way much longer. Always buy original brand for your equipment.

Canon - LP-E6N Lithium-Ion Battery was on my list as a back up battery after I bought a canon 80D and Best Buy had the right price and easy pick up.

I own a Canon 70d and I have seen a huge difference in the amount of shots I get with the new version "-N" of this battery over the battery that came with the camera
