a most unique and fun metroidvania

in recompile you play a small but powerful hacking program trying to save its writer from an ai gone mad. as with any good metroidvania you start out with very little but as you explore the different destroyed locations of the mainframe you gain new abilities, ways to protect yourself from antivirus programs and hack into processes which open more areas. the story is great, the puzzles are fun and the combat is satisfying. definitely worth a play for any 3rd person action fan.
