I bought the last cd at the store. It didn't work, and wouldn't play in my car. Had to return.

This album is overall awesome compared to the last two solo projects (Encore and Relapse) which in my opinion were garbage compared to this. This is his best work since The Eminem Show (my personal favorite). No more Accent on this CD just real music that you can listen to the whole way through. My only complaints are "Wont Back Down f Pink" (lyrics are good, hook sucks, pink doesn't fit the track) and "Fire" (sounds like something from relapse). A few tracks I find myself listening to more than others: Cold Wind Blows (combines a short intro and jumps right into the album), Seduction, Space Bound, Untitled, and No Love (one of which i think Wayne does a good job and the sample they use from Haddaway "What Is Love" for the hook is awesome, caught me off guard when I heard it!)
Definitely impressed with this album, especially after hearing of the producers and featured artists. But they all done well in my opinion (except Pink). I was afraid it was gonna be a radio mainstream album like most garbage that gets recognized as good hip hop these days but the classic em quality is there, I love it!
Beats are overall good for the CD, most aren't noticeably great but definitely satisfactory.
Eminem has made his return with this CD!

The lyrics cover Eminem's current stage in life, his anger for bad rappers, and the struggle he's gone through losing his best friend (Proof) and how he's gotten through/going through it.
First of all, his flow and lyrics are crazy on this album. I waited to buy the album to listen to it. I know a lot of people were downloading the album off the web before it was released, but I patiently waited. I wasn't let down. I put Eminem at the top of the list of rappers and he proved it with this album. He's angry again in this album, but also has a lot of heart in it. You can tell he put a lot of effort in this album. Some of my favorite tracks: Cold Wind Blows, W.T.P., Going through Changes, Not Afraid, Space Bound, No Love, and Untitled (ridiculous!).
Some of the negatives are Pink's existence on this album (she's forgettable) and Eminem can't sing on every song. He can pull it off most of the time, but it wasn't that good on track 16 which is his tribute to his best friend, Proof. Although, it's still a really good song.

Album of the Year

Anyone who says that this album is garbage, has absolutely no idea what makes an album scream. This is by far Eminem's best CD. I can put it on No. 2 and let it ride till the end of the CD. Not many artist put there entire persona, heart, and pride into a CD, Eminem does it all on this CD. I will be really surprised if he is not nominated for Album of the Year.
All you hear now from rappers is how many girls and how many cars and how much money I got. WHO CARES! Eminem tells his state of life at the moment without using any of those. THIS CD ACTUALLY HAS CHARACTER. PEOPLE CAN RELATE TO IT. THAT, IS WHAT MAKES GREAT MUSIC!
I am not a huge Eminem fan. I liked his first couple of cd's, but not a die hard fan. But this CD is sick and there is no denying that.

EMINEM is back..

As my summary implied Eminem is back, and is at his best. This album sounds nothing like "Relapse". This is an indication of where his mind is, and where he is in his life. The entire album is fun to listen to. The lyrical quality is comparable to, or better than "The Eminem Show". The best songs are "Not Afraid", "Won't Back Down", and "Cinderella Man". "Cinderella Man" is quite possibly the coolest song that he has ever made. The only weak link as far as lyrics is Lil Wayne's verse in "No Love". He really just says nonsense. This is arguably Eminem's best album thus yet. If not, it is definitely in the top 3. Buy this album! You will not regret it!

I've loved him since the SSLP. This album is amazing. I can listen to it the whole way through 1 - 17. Cold Wind Blows is lyrically AMAZING! Talkin' 2 Myself is real and raw, as is Space Bound, You're Never Over and Not Afraid. Of course, he has to have his goofy track W.T.P. but don't dismiss it for a dumb song...coldest first lines EVER.."Man first off I'mma boss/I just wanna get that across/Man even my dentist hates when floss/Pull up to the club in a Pinto like it's a Porsche. LOL And his timing is really superb on that track!! Also, something I've been waiting for..."love" songs. I put them in quotes, because we're still talking about Em, here. Overall, GREAT album!! I could see at least 2 other singles on this album.

Incredible Album

"Recovery" is an amazing album lyrically. Ever single line is connected with another (Unlike Lil Wayne who just says random things) and he is great at saying little phrases that connect ("i'll put my d*ck in a circle, but i'm not f*ckin around") haha get it? My favorite song is You're Never Over which is a song he dedicated to his best friend Proof who was shot and killed which led to many of Eminems problems of recent. People may say Eminem is selling out but all the featured artists are only involved with the chorus which doesn't really mean anything, except for lil wayne on no love but he is only the intro to the song until he gets wrecked by Eminem.

By Far, His Greatest Yet...It's a Masterpiece!

This is easily his best yet...his artistic Masterpiece. Such a good album. There is a ton of buzz and talk on the internet that it is actually (secretly) going to be a double-disc and that it is just being kept on the DL. All the songs are just so legit I can't even believe it. 25 to Life though is by far my fav...literally gave me chills the first time I listened to it. WTP is funny. You're Never Over is dedicated to Proof and is pretty sad, but so good lyrically. Can't wait til it releases so I can buy this shizz up. Em slaughtered it on this one!

I've been an Eminem fan since almost day one. I actually loved Relapse and I'm still listening to it. Even though I downloaded the CD online last week. I will definitely be buying this in stores. Cold Wind Blows is great, funny, catchy. Not Afraid inspirational, Beautiful "esque". Talking 2 Myself is The Real Slim Shady, but not funny, inspirational, kind of like Hello from Relapse, but more serious. No Love, is great Em and Weezy are great together, cant wait to see the video. All of the other songs are good if not great, for the most part. You will not be disappointed.

Been a day one fan of Eminem and always was entertained by his work. However upon hearing his new single I have to say it was very inspiring. Eminem is obviously taking a new path in life and I highly appreciate that he has included his fans to come along for the ride. Not Afraid has assisted me in getting the energy to take on certain obstacles in my life. I look forward to hearing the rest of the album. I have heard nothing but great things so far about it. Once again I tip my hat to this lyrical genius.

Wow....I really enjoy this CD.It feels like he took his time and it comes from deep within. His last CD seemed rushed and wasn't as enjoyable.Cinderella Man and the one w/Rihanna I think hits home the most.I very rarely buy rap CD's but I have been loyal to this guy because out of all the "rappers" still out there. This fella is the real deal.I put him in the same catergory as Jay-Z..original ryhme masters that do not need to "sample" other people's songs to do their thing.A must buy for rap fans and non alike!

This album is Eminem again, i have been an m fan since the beginning and bought all of his albums. People criticized the relapse album but i saw it as a way m was releasing all the negative hes been dealing with for so long, but recovery is the best title for this album and the songs shows why eminem is one of the greatest rappers alive.

Awesome comeback by Em. I believe in one of his songs he says, "say hello to gangsta rock". Enough said ;)
Awesome features from other people including lil wayne, and Rihanna.
If you are an Eminem fan who was disappointed on his Relapse album, BUY this cd and feel better! lol, I know I did. Its worth the 10 bucks and then some.

He keeps on delivering and spittin' what I feel, but don't say. I'm glad he's still doing his thing! He should have went ahead and put it on lil wayne and kanye cause they don't have nothin' on him. Em is creative and a great lyricist. Em is a hardcore poet and may not even know it!

i cant wait for this album, relapse was great. an im sure recovery will reflect vry well. all i can say is that the track list they got up there is BS cause there r no skits on the album only songs. an the only featured artist r kobe, pink, lil wayne,an rihanna. but i deffintly dont care cause its eminem an 4 out of 5 albums have been classic so eminem is out for nothing less.
