The follow up to RED finds the same stars in similar situations. The cast serves to keep everything lively and fresh(ish). The one down side for me was the lack of surprise in Hellen Mirren’s character. In the first movie her role totally surprised me, in this one I was anticipating the same. She didn’t disappoint, but didn’t surprise either. All-in-all, a good follow for RED. Get them both!

Film never stays in one scene mode for very long - chase scene followed by dialog scene, followed by fight scene, and so on. This keeps scenes from getting boring. There are also many unexpected events, which also helps prevent any sense of boredom. The action scenes are of good quality- They are reasonably intense and original. There is more dialog and character development than normal for an action film. It is generally humorous in nature and adds to the film's charm.

An amazingly fun action great comedy! All the stars have great chemistry together! A star-studded cast Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker all come together to form such a great ensemble and complete that same chemistry followed up from the first movie the sequel is just as good as the first one.

Saw the first movie with my family and then saw this one in theaters with them when it came out because we liked the RED soooo much (we usually don't go to the theater for movies). Love the interaction between the various characters and how their relationships work and make everything more enjoyable to watch. The actors to amazing jobs with their characters' personalities that one might think they would really be like that in real life.

Everyone is back for Reds 2, plus some big name additions like Katherine Zeta Jones and Anthony Hopkins. Lots of action scenes and comedy spots between the characters. Unfortunately, I barely remember the plot and no one scene really stands out for me in this movie like they did in the first one. That's not to say that I didn't enjoy Reds 2. I had a good time watching it. If you loved the first, you should like this one too.

This movie was absolutely incredible non stop action funny and the woman omg. My only complaint if I had to make one is I thought it fell short with action. First movie was just dynamic. This was I think they wanted to go more witty and less action, don't get me wrong it still has alot just not asuch as the first. Overall must buy for movie buffs. I wis I was flagged "RED" Retired and Extremely Dangerous.

A wonderfully Excellent and highly Exhilarating movie. Lots of action packed drama. Better than the first original movie. Very exciting and fast action. Really liked the fact that there were lots of funny scenes. Bruce Willis my favorite actor. Bruce always put on a dynamic performance along with the entire cast. The cast selection was great. They had you on the edge of your seat. Wanting more and more.

if you saw :Red" the first film , you must view Red 2. The actors in this movie are excellent. Bruce Willis was exceptional with drama , a love story, action sequences, ect... John Malkovich was a war nut but likeable, Mary-Louise Parker was Bruce's girl friend and Helen Mirren always play an interesting role . This film has appeal for many different viewer, male and female alike!

Not in store and didn't seem to be available to order with the lack of knowledge of any of the helping people.

I thoroughly enjoyed ths Movie! I missed it in theaters, but the BD made up for it! Only thing I didn't enjoy so much was the Gag Reel, with all the F-Bombs in it-! More of those than in the actual Movie itself! Still, it was great to see how the Team grew & some background info & characters on one of Frank's victims in one of his exploits...

RED 2 is a return to the RED comic franchise, and is a fun movie. Good returning cast from the first movie, with the main characters having moved on to domestic... well, not bliss, but living in domestic obscurity and avoiding the limelight until something goes wrong, and then its off on a world-wide hunt for a hidden weapon of mass destruction. Quite enjoyable.

We really enjoyed the first RED movie. Reds 2 was also very good. The beginning was a little slow until newer characters were introduced. Then the story line became more intriguing and fun. Of course, there is a lot of tongue-in-cheek bits, but they are entertaining and fun to watch. This is definitely a must see if you liked the first.

Thoroughly enjoyed RED2 as much as the original RED; humor, action, good story line, all-star cast...makes you think they had a blast making this movie together. AND we paid less for it than the price of a single movie theater ticket...we've already watched it 3 times-once together, once with one of our sons, and once with friends

My review on this movie is excellent all the action and comedy they got is just great I like it if they come out with another one perfect five star I have to a say Bruce will always be on top of his game no matter what good job and the rest of you excellent job a must watch and pick up and purchase along with the first red of course

Is it as good as the first.. no of course it isn't. It attempts to replicate the formula that made it's predecessor such a great film but falls just shy with it's reach at also evolving and deevolving main characters. However, at the bargain price that it often hits on best buy's movie sales it is still well worth picking up.

The first Red was a good, fun flick. This one was too, but slightly less inventive. The cast is fun to watch, but Karl Urban is sorely missed from the proceedings. Anthony Hopkins is a fun addition. Would love to see more of these, as well as the Losers, which I liked more when it came out, but it didn't do as well at the box office as Red.

Love this follow up to RED. It's just as funny and as fast paced as the original which is something most sequels can't do. The all star cast is bigger and badder than the original and the pacing keeps you entertained and never bored. I love both the movies and they are always a blast to watch again and again.

Love the cast and the action. Effects look amazing on Blu-ray. I really like having the Blu-ray and dvd formats plus the digital. My only criticism is that when I bought it NEW (not used) the didgital code had expired so I wasn't able to get the copy that I thought was included with my purchase so that was very disappointing.

REDS 2 is packed with the action & humor of the first one; the same actors come back for a new adventure. Retired CIA agents come together again in a movie that the critics didn't care for the audience will find entertaining! The actors & action are what make the movie. It's one I found enjoyable for what it is, action packed fun.

The original Red was an excellent "spy" action film, the sequel picks up where it left off and doesn't disappoint. The main actors all return (except Morgan Freeman for obvious reasons) and the addition of Anthony Hopkins was a nice touch. A nice plot, good acting, some witty lines wrap it all up into a highly enjoyable movie.
