Another Hollywood remake. The first movie reached "Cult" following status. This version is full of action, but not the same as the original. A great action movie in its own right, but trying to modernize the story takes away from it.

Loved the first one and was worried they would ruin it with this remake. Worth watching for the action and was different from the original.

If your expecting it to be a remake of the original don't this is a completely different take on the original version with a very shocking and surprise ending you won't be disappointed

My fiancé and I really like this movie. It was a great price so we picked it up to add to our collection. The only bad part of the whole movie is Josh Peck, what a terrible actor!

I am an 80's guy and loved the original movie. I was skeptical at first but movie was not bad. Saw it and syndicate and edited. Had to purchase the blu-ray afterwards.

I guess Hollywood has both produced worse remakes, and has also had enough wisdom to avoid remaking better movies than Red Dawn. So even though this is not a bad movie per se, it was an unnecessary one.

I am beginning to think the movie industry rarely has an original thought, what with so many sequels and remakes being produced. This is one remake they should have left well enough alone. The story line followed the original fairly closely, but for the most part the acting was sub-par and just didn't pull me in the way the original did. At least in the original I felt emotionally invested in the group and the cause. That was not the case with the remake. Chris Hemsworth put in a believable performance but it was not enough to save the movie for me.

A friend of mine suggested I watch this movie. I saw it on sale for $4 and decided to give it a shot. I was not disappointed, nor was I overjoyed. For the price I can't complain.

We enjoyed a lot od action good movie my husband enjoyed it as well must see I purchased it afer thanksgiving foor a good price make it a movie night

An outstanding action movie that isn't the original but is still epic. Koreans instead of Cubans/Russians in the remake but still the same plot as the original.

Not bad for a remake. Storyline is the same as the 80s version the only difference is the who invades. I believe in the 80s it was Russia, the new version is North Korea.

Love this movie, Action packed just like the original, I highly recommend this movie

Awesome movie, great action and actors. Very intense and satisfying. Just very unfortunate that they have to use the F-word in movies at all.

Red Dawn is a movie about what if people attacked the usa.

The husband has always loved the original Red Dawn, and was anxiously awaiting this remake. It passed the test, definitely recommended.

If you liked the own the original, you must also have the remake. It completes the chance to view both versions and make your own comparisons.

I was hoping for a little more from the remake of the classic Red Dawn. Overall, a watchable movie, but still lacked something. Mindless entertainment, nonetheless.

This movie was great, still haven't watched the original and need to to see the difference in the 2.
