There a lot of fans of Rockstar games, but I've always thought they were just okay. This is the first game by Rockstar where their story telling abilities really take things to the next level. Fans of the first game know what happens at the end to the Van Der Lind gang, but watching the 'family' get torn apart chapter after chapter was addicting and wonderfully well told. The voice acting and character modeling are top notch, and made me a believer in what Rockstar can do when they put their minds on telling a serious story instead of the camp that is in most of their GTA titles.

I absolutely love this game much to my wife's dismay. The immersion is in this mind blowing, I never in my life thought I'd have to bond with a horse.

This game is so huge that you never run out of things to do. If you take time you can encounter multiple random events or just run around robbing people.

So I only brought it for my ps4 cause most of my friends are on psn but then my xbox friends got the game and I decided to get it for my xbox too. No regrets.

excellent story mode and great graphics too. kept me engaged the entire time which is not easy to do!

Can this get any better? and by better, I mean better like being abducted by aliens for analysis and they realize how cool I am and make me their president!!

Everything I've seen and heard about game has been great. I bought 3 weeks ago and haven't even had a chance to play it yet. Very excited to get started

So, I'm not sure what I could say about RDR2 that most people do not already know at this point (I mean, it's been out for like two weeks and it's sold so well and is so popular even South Park has made an episode about it). Basically, if you like to play as a criminal in a gang that is set in the West, buy it. If you don't enjoy that scenario, don't. I bought it as a present and while I did not care for the first RDR, and I can't say I care for this one either, I will say how stunning the graphics and world is. You can't find a better game to play a old time western outlaw then this game. The world is just great, Rockstar, as they normally do, did a fantastic job and most everyone can enjoy this (although parent's there is a lot of violence and killing in this game, please pay attention to the M/17+ rating and decide if that is okay for your child).

Rockstar is probably my favorite game studio of all time! This is what happens when studios are allowed to take their time with a game, and are not just forced to send out unfinished, unpolished, barely tested game just for the sake of it (cough cough fallout 76 and friends). Seven years in development gave birth to this beautiful must own, must play, must share, must probably go to rehab to get unhooked masterpiece of a game! Highly recommend. Don't even think about it. Give Rockstar their well earned money. You're getting two games in one. RDR 2 story and Red Dead Online.

Rockstar Games never fails to make a great video game, and with this new installment in the Red Dead Redemption series, they prove their talents even more.

The game looks gorgeous. That needs to be said. I am playing on xbox one x and would recommend the upgrade if you are going to play. It's worth it. Outside of that, it's a very deep game but the interface is poor as well as extremely slow moving story. I like the game but don't expect it to be anything like GTA 5.

GTA in the Wild West what is not to like? It also has a really good story and once finished the multiplayer will keep you entertained for hours on in.

I waited for this game to go on sale before I purchased it. What better time than the holiday? So far I've spent 6 hours playing and love the simplicity of Rockstar games since they are the same as GTA. The story mode is ok, but not my type of game, but I like that you can freeplay through out the land. Controls ae the same as GTA and same concept, but just a different feel since it's set in a western type of environment. I think it was worth the price given my personal interest.

Muat have game for any system. Be the good guy or bad guy. Forget the story and just go hunting or fishing. After main story you play as John for a completely new game. 10/10 need to have.

Wasnt sure about it at first cuz I never played the first but heard lots of good things from other people and decided to give it a shot. Like it so far.

This game is awesome although the first copy I had would not download correctly so Best Buy exchanged it no problem and now I am enjoying hours of fun

One of the best rockstar games. This a prequel well worth playing and be prepared for a very lengthy campaign almost 60 hours not including side missions
