For some people, the often glacial pace of RDR2 will be a non-starter. For those looking for a more authentic cowboy experience though, this game is without peer. While many of the niggles that have plagued previous Rockstar releases still exist, the incredible world-building, storytelling, and level of detail do a great job of making them disappear. If you’re a multiplatform owner, snag the X1X version to enjoy the finest edition currently available.

Purchased as a gift for our son. Large collections of guns, wildlife, gangs, scenery, plants, etc... This game is visually breathtaking. It will knock your socks off with the 4K HDR. The game is currently being played on the Xbox Series X. Would highly recommend.

So you liked the last RDR? Ya, that one was garbage compared to this version. Everything is lifelike and the scenery is fantastic. The game is also much more realistic than the last version as you now need to worry about your health and that of your horses. The overall game play feels about the same, but the motion is much more fluid now. With so much to do and explore, I expect this game to give out 100+ hours of entertainment before its finished.

I haven't played the first game but enjoy this game. The game play is easier than "The Division 1" on the X-Box One. The graphics and visuals of the horse riding are stunning. The story in the game is compelling. You have to eat and take proper care of your horse to be able to succeed. Paul

I have not been hooked to an RPG like this since Fallout 3. There's so much to do and every minor side quest like helping a stranger feels natural. It doesn't just appear and disappear, you feel that it stays with you when you run into the same stranger later in the game. The attention to detail is mind boggling, the best thing to happen for RPG gaming this year. I don't care for online multiplayer and have not played online mode in this game.

As the title states, it’s been a long wait! I’ll keep it brief as there is so much intel available on RDR2 already. If you love open world games, there is none better. Like to be distracted by shiny objects (read: too much to do)? This is your game. I can easily see this taking me a year to finish all objectives. Graphics? Unbelievable. Look at an object....then look again: the attention to detail is second to none. Well done Rockstar! Well done!
