Great Buy..!! Since there was an Upgrade for the Switch 2 and Nice Western Game to Play..!

I picked this up once it was announced it was getting a *free* Switch 2 upgrade. The upgrade process was painless - it's just an update you download from Nintendo's eShop. The game now runs at 1080p/60fps in handheld mode - meaning it runs better now in handheld than it ever did on 360 and PS3. There seems to be other upgrades like the draw distance for foliage and shadows, but nothing earth shattering. As for the game itself, it's the same game from 2010. It's aged gracefully for a 15+ year-old game. It's not as complex as Red Dead Redemption 2, but I think that's a good thing. There's no clunky inventory system and the quest system is very much what we've seen for decades from GTA Where you go to a marker on your minimap, a cutscene plays explaining the quest/mission/heist, and you go to the next marker on the map to kick it off. It's not revolutionary in 2026 but it's tried-and-true and not quite stale yet - game design just hasn't evolved that much yet. The relatively minimal interface has aged well too, so you don't necessarily feel like you're playing an older game. It may not have the horse, gun, and outfit customization of RDR2, but it's easy to play a quest a night before bed once the kids are asleep. And that's why the Switch/Switch 2 version is so great - you're not anchored to your TV to play this cinematic classic of a game.

I played this all the eay back in 2010, and expected to enjoy replayign it quite a bit. I didnt expext to fall back in love so much with the game on my repeat playthrough, and the switch port is immaculate.

One of the best weatern games ever made. Enjoy this more than any GTA game personally. Now that it runs smoother and with more graphicals on switch 2, it’s a joy to play on the go.

My son loves this game. He had the #2 first and put this one on his Xmas list. And he loves it. He said something about it coming with a bonus game and was excited about that too.

Extremely amazing game. This game is old as dirt, but still an amazing time with a great story and open world. Definitely worth a buy
