I'd heard that Red Dwarf was coming back after a long gap. Pleased to find the Blu-Rays here much cheaper than the DVDs on Amazon. A good series, plus more to come with Series XII.

What can I say about Red Dwarf Series XI? This new series brings back the original cast members and the Red Dwarf spaceship and crew quarters setting. With only 6 episodes per series for this classic British sci-fi comedy, it left me hungry for more after viewing. While viewing the extra features and behind the scenes features I noted several remarks about Series XII. A search online revealed that Series XI and XII were shot together and that Series XII should air and be released in 2017? Regardless, this is great news for Dwarf fans who have waited years between series! The new series XI (and XII) were approved, shot together with a new production company which spent countless hours building new sets and bringing back the classic Red Dwarf environs and props. For those not familiar with Red Dwarf, I suggest you go to the official Red Dwarf website to learn all about it.

I'm really glad I got this disc! And as I said, the boys are back. I purchased this disc for about $20, and think it was well worth it. I found myself laughing out loud at the six episodes that are on this disc. The stories and Comedy where as inventive as ever. They still have got what it takes! There's also a documentary that's about an hour long of behind the scenes that I really enjoyed watching, and also laughed through. By the way, in the documentary seems to indicate that there is a season 12 that's coming up. And I'll tell you right now, I'll be getting it. So if your Red Dwarf fan, I think you'll enjoy this very much!

The title is bit of a misnomer, but its true. This a decent season of Red Dwarf, but unfortunately its a case where you kind of wished there was more. Episodes like Officer Rimmer tend to be a rehash of classic gems and only exist to show how improved the technical level of the show is. There are great ideas sprinkled here and there, but nothing seems to stand out aside from the Twentica episode. Bonus features are fairly standard with a handful of deleted scenes, the always great collection of bloopers and a documentary chronicling the behind the scenes work (which feels a bit questionably relaxed at times.) Sadly, there are no audio commentaries found here. Overall, this is more recommended to Red Dwarf fans of the old. Season 10 was a tough act to follow, but you can see they tried. Newcomers might want to check out previous seasons to get an idea of what the shows is like and probably wait on seeing this one. Old fans won't be highly disappointed but might want to lower their expectations a bit. There's not many episodes that stand out but still can see a glimmer of creativity here and there.

Takes the humor and wit from the original Red Dwarf and repurposes it for the modern age while still clinging to its roots. The new seasons have a crystal clear picture and sound compared to the original Red Dwarf episodes. Better special effects and a great variety of episodes. Definitely recommend. I hope new seasons keep being released!

Another series of Red Dwarf! Always good for a laugh after all these years. Got the Blu-Ray version here at Best Buy since it was somehow cheaper than the DVD release on Amazon. Hoping that Series XII gets here soon.

This was a gift for my son and I have watched most of the previous episodes with him on TV. The quality of the video is markedly improved here and it's a nice all around package. Recommended for fans.

I've been a fan of Red Dwarf since the beginning. Some seasons have been great, some not so good, but all are entertaining. Here, there is a mix, it feels more like the earliest (first two) seasons, though the endings of the stories are a bit lackluster (sudden end). If you are a fan, you will enjoy, but it is not the best the series has ever been

What can I say, I've watched this series from the beginning. And tho it's been many years since the first series, they haven't lost their touch! Carry on red dwarf!

It is hard to believe this show has been running for almost 30 years! If you have liked previous seasons/series of this show, the latest season will not disappoint.

I have been watching Red Dwarf since season 1. Absolutely luv it. Original & unique sci-fi comedy. I love British comedy & Red Dwarf never disappoints.

An absolute Red Dwarf return! The Dwarf as it should be. I only wish the episodes were longer and more plentiful, it'll hold us until season 12!

For those who love Red Dwarf Sci-Fi series. This is fun to watch. Plus the Blu-Ray edition has lots of extra features. Fun for the whole family.

I've been watching Red Dwarf since it's first airing on PBS back in the late 80s before Doctor Who. Still funny after all these years.

An excellent series that takes the show farther towards its old form. I as reminded of series three and four in humor and content.

This is a great continuation of the British comedy series. The cast does an excellent job bringing humor to the screen.

Red Dwarf XI made me laugh out loud and the last series I did that was Red Dwarf V. However, please bring back Holly.

So happy to see more installments in the Red Dwarf series. Very funny British comedy, with a warped sense of humor.
