I would recommend buying this game if you liked the first red fraction.

This is not a game you would expect to have the "Red Faction" name on. The controls are unresponsive. The graphics are worse than "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City". The story is mediocre at best. Don't get suckered in by the commercials for this game they are completely untrue. They say the environment is completely destructible with realistic physics and that each object is affected by damage differently each time it is destroyed. This is false, you can destroy any object they have designed to be destroyed in the exact same way every time and the physics are only random on when a building will fall and not at all realistic. Basically they made a great game for the PS1 back in the 90's. Don't buy, don't rent, and if you own a game store don't sell this game, it will only encourage them to be mediocre.

this game is okay but it gets very boring very fast.

I played it for a day thinking at some point this game would get better, no such luck. The graphics are ok, but this game is not fun. Very weak weapons choices, basically a hammer and a gun with very limited amo, no inteligence whatsoever with regards to the AI. No I am out 60 dollars for what is essentialy junk software. I would not play this if someone gave it to me for free because it is not fun.
