Red Sparrow should have been a better film. That's not to say it's not a good film, if you can shut off your expectations for a while it's an ok distraction. I just think Lawrence was grossly misused and her rather hollow character was given only the basic misconceptions and stereotypes to work with. Her character was boxed in and defined in a way that was a disservice to the actor we know Lawrence can be when given an excellent script.

I don't know how I had never heard of this movie. The price was right and description sounded good. We loved it! Great action and suspense with a really interesting story line.

Jennifer Lawrence steps it up a level in this violent cold-war thriller. Lawrence is supported by an all-star cast that brings back memories of the US-USSR tensions of previous years. Lawrence looks great and handles the role with aplomb. A great set of extras support the blu-ray movie.

RED SPARROW is a dark, intelligent, suspenseful, complex, well-crafted movie. The movie has you at the edge of your seat with anticipation, and Lawrence gives a great performance.

This movie wasn’t at good as I expected it to be, but it wasn’t bad either. You feel for the character as she goes through rigorous training and her intense missions.

This movie has an amazing twist especially when you see how everything is pieced together. It's a definite must watch. Also the movie has plenty of behind the scenes worth watching. They are actually pretty lengthy but always a nice bonus over some movies with almost nothing.

Russian ex-ballet dancer is recruited to be a spy by her high ranking uncle, and things go south from there. Very good plot, a little hard to follow, with a surprise ending.

Should have been the first R rated MCU movie and been called Black Widow. A little uneven but worth it for Lawrence’s performance

Haven't been a huge fan of most Jennifer Lawrence's work, but this role was a good pick for her. Enjoyed the aesthetic and vibe of the film. Great direction and camera work.

Learning the spy craft in Russia, is seen through the eyes of the innocent. It showed Russia would do anything to stay ahead of the United States.

If you are a Jennifer Lawrence fan, this film is a must. She is very good and you see more of her than you do in any other film, if you know what I mean. Good story.

After a suspicious accident ends her ballet career, Jennifer Lawrence's character is coerced by an unscrupulous uncle to work for the State spy service. She is battered, beaten, and bruised throughout the movie but finds a way to prevail in an ending richly deserved by her uncle.

Just act like it's a R rated Black Widow origin movie. Then it's pretty great.

A sexy spy thriller with Jennifer Lawrence as a Russian ballerina trained to use her mind and body as a weapon. The story-line has some holes in it. Not for everybody.

This movie was Jennifer Lawrence is best for them and roll yet. The artistry and compassion put into this movie will keep you in ages and keep you immersed into deep espionage as you go through some interesting and situations with Jennifer in this action-packed thriller.

It was way better than I thought it would be. I was pleasantly surprised with Jennifer's performance. Really good movie well worth owning and putting in your library.

I really liked this movie, I just wish there was a little bit more to the character development. I think the twists and storyline are really good and it’s a different role for Jennifer Lawrence that I enjoyed. Overall, I thought it was a good movie and I’d watch it again.

Jennifer Lawrence does a great job is this movie and it also has some great action sequences. The picture quality and dolby atmos sound track are outstanding.

I watched this in theaters and enjoyed everything about it. So when I saw they made this with a steelbook Edition I had to pick up. I would search stores around me but they were sold out. Luckily I managed to pick up a copy online.

The movie had a great plot and there was lots of action. Jennifer Lawrence was perfect for the lead role. The change in her life from a ballerina to a Russian master spy plays out in a surprising finale. It take a master spy (Red Sparrow) to rise in the KGB.
