Rushed & Rude

First, the men (can't call them gentlemen, as they were rude the moment they walked in) showed up 4 hours late. But not only were they 4 hours late, they were rushing like they needed to get home. One, I think, was fighting with significant other on the phone so he needed to get his butt home. They rushed thru the job, didn't even think to check to see if everything was ok. They didn't clean up after themselves.

The contractor hired to install my new refrigerator and dishwasher arrived within the scheduled timeframe. However, it did take longer than expected to install both items. Additionally the installers were not prepared when draining the ice maker from the refrigerator that was working. Had a lot of clean up. Also, the dishwasher has not been installed to correctly align with the cabinets. Now my refrigerator that the contractors moved does not work. Very troublesome

Truly the worst experience I’ve had. The date kept getting changed and for the life of me I can’t understand why it took three crews to complete the process.
One- to move my old refrigerator
Two- to deliver the new one
Three - to install the waterline ( scratched my floor and now I had to file a claim)
My delivery got rescheduled without any notice although they assure me that one the the two dozen generic email there was a notice. It’s impossible to get ahold of ANYONE unless you set aside at least an hour and navigate through the prompts. WHY CANT A JUST SPEAK TO SOMEONE AT THE STORE BESTBUY????! And how is it cost effective for you to send out a total of 6 YES… 6 crews to deliver 1 refrigerator and 1 garbage disposal!? You literally pulled up in a full size box truck to have a guy walk in and hand me a my garbage disposal I also bought and paid to have Installed and when I asked where is my refrigerator… all he said was that coming later today…. And that was a lie, it didn’t come for another 7 day not to mention the installer took another 3 days after that!
The total experience was like a bad comedy!!!

The guys who installed my refrigerator were great! They did everything right, Had no problem getting the seemingly large refrigerator thru seemingly small doors (I did measure, but it was close...) Super friendly and professional.

I have had unbelievable trouble lately getting my appliances from Lowes. It's crazy how every step has been so difficult and anything that could go wrong did. I decided to try Best Buy when I needed a refrigerator and then the washer replaced and they have been AMAZING. The process was easy and every person along the way has been so helpful and kind! I would and will get everything from them from now on. Also their third party installers were so much better than anyone I've ever had come from Lowes.

They cancelled the first appointment. They did not complete the new water line but instead used the old water line against my instructions during the second appointment. They then cancelled the new water line installation two more times during times that I had taken time off work to be there time interval they designated. The support staff named Justin spoke to me about the issue and described that he was going to reschedule the appointment. But then he did not do so. There was apparently a system glitch. Also for the appointment I scheduled for 12-8pm and asked for after 3pm. They then set the interval to be 12-3pm and did not tell me. I rushed to be available during the interval after checking on the status. The did not show at all during the day saying simply that they cannot come Javier rescheduled again for Oct 25, but it is likely to be cancelled because in their mind the job is complete with the use of the twenty year old water line with pressure issues. I think that they do not want to touch water line installation because of possible liability issues so they just lie and manipulate out of the job.

The plumber called me and offered to change the time if needed. My son rescheduled the time for his convenience for his work schedule. Everything went smoothly with the plumber.

The geek squad needs a better process for handling resolutions to installation problems. Best buy also need to stop hiring contractors with a BBB rating of F

Horrible horrible horrible service, wont recommend to anyone. Best buy uses third party vendor to install or get that new water line or electric and they uses third party local vendors. And once you buy this service you will go through whole another level mess. So I highly recommend that just get the product and get it installed by professionals not from Best Buy

Company changed service companies to do the installation. Technician arrived with hardly any tools. He however was friendly and accomplished the job with what he had. The final result was positive.

They install the waterline through cabinets however, i had to hire a plumber to install and connect a waterline to pipes.

The 3rd party company that didn't the install hooked the water line up to my outside hose line after the valve. Didn't realize this until they were gone. I fixed it myself.

Very impressed with the delivery and installation of the new refrigerator. The team was friendly and professional. They swiftly relocated the old refrigerator and installed the new one. They also installed a new water line, and quickly adapted to a tricky set up.
I would highly recommend using this service. As long as you do your part and know what you're doing (IE correctly measuring) you will have a great experience

Plumber said it was a problem w/in the refrigerator. Tried to get Best Buy and couldn’t and then Whirlpool and ended up calling an appliance repair service and had it fixed.

The technician was not able to install the waterline. He can't run the waterline behind the stove. However, he did a great job installing the refrigerator.

My new GE French Door Refrigerator is the most wonderful Appliance I’ve had in 7 years! I should never have bought anything but GE. I strayed and bought another named Appliance. For the whole time I had it I put 4 ice makers in it! Long story short, I just gave that fridge to my neighbors to put in their garage…..they won’t need the ice maker.
I have a GE stove and a GE dishwasher! GE is the best!!!
