    My fridge have a dent when delivered and. Didn’t realize til next day. It looked like Drivers were in a hurry . I tried to call several times but didn’t get an answer did the COVI19 crisis .

    On 7/22/25, I purchased a beautiful new Refrigerator. I also purchased the Refrigerator Installation Kit, delivery & setup services. The charge to my card was $206.06. On 7-24-25 the Refrigerator was delivered. The serviceman was supposed to bring a Ref New WTR Inst. SKU; 3533705 with him along with the new refrigerator. However, he did not bring the Refrigerator New Water Installation Kit to my house. Besides, I showed him that my County inspector approved the new water line that had been installed for my new Refrigerator. Therefore, I only needed a waterline. The purchase a Waterline Kit Model 5308815008/5304490728 SKU9089657 cost $36.08. I have been working on the price adjustment since July 24, 2025. However, this overcharge of $139.99 has not been resolved. I hope someone helps me obtain the price adjustment of $139.99 I am due. Or if someone can find the actual recipient of the Refrigerator Installation (New Water Line Kit), then charge them. How much longer will it take for someone to review my purchases and resolve this matter? My Best Buy store employees are wonderful people, helpful, knowledgeable & kind. It’s sad that my store is rated based on one person’s performance.

    Best Buy stated they needed a dedicated water valve behind fridge in order to complete the installation. The Tech rescheduled, arrived, marked paperwork as install completed but simply hooked into my existing line, not installing any new valve that I paid for. Very deceptive. If I had not checked might not have known for years. Anyway, Best Buy refunded me for the non-installation.

    Would be 5 stars had the service scheduling controller now completely messed up the time. I had scheduled for a late morning/early afternoon time slot. I got an email confirming that I planned my day, including an important appointment, around that slot. I got a call from the schedule controller to confirm the time but THEY told me that my time had been switched to a slot later in the afternoon. I questioned this, had them double check etc. They insisted this was correct. OK, I took it rather than reschedule and rescheduled my appointment to earlier in the day instead, switching around my day. I get another email confirming the time but this time it's my earlier time, So I call the number on the email. They tell me their records still say the earlier time but if the controller for the install company told me a different time I should probably believe them. So I continue on that assumption. As I am about to go in for my appointment on the day, I get a call from the install team. They are at my house, at the earliest time possible for the FIRST time slot I had originally scheduled, NOT the one I was told by the controller. Yay. On the bright side, the appointment was only a few blocks away from my home and I was able to run back home. The Install team themselves were polite, fast, efficient, respectful of my floors and of COVID concerns... They were really nice guys! I needed a longer hose than the store sold me and had told the controller that, and they had the notification from her and were ready. I was super happy with the service. Only thing I think they might have done to improve was to clean up the wood shavings/chips from their drilling holes through my cabinets to get the hose through. But that's super minor. Wasn't planning on doing this at first and now I'm super glad I did. Worth it!

    I am giving a 3 star rating because the actual installation of my refrigerator went well. However if there were an option for negative stars I would give that when it hones to the install being cancelled after I waited all day. Thus happened THREE times before they finally delivered it the fourth scheduled time. People in my family missed work 4 times waiting for this refrigerator to be delivered and it finally was right before Thanksgiving and mind you our old refrigerator was not functioning. To add fuel to the fire Best Buy promised me a $250 gift card for my trouble to be nailed out to me. Guess what never arrived??? I should’ve checked the reviews before I bought a large appliance for delivery from them. Too many stories just like this and worse.

    I purchase a stove and fridge, but i need a water line for the fridge because it has an ice maker and water dispenser. I currently do not have a water line in my current home. So best buy scheduled a site survey. When they arrived, the asked a few questions. Because my kitchen is a brand new intall, they recommended tapping of the water line under the sink. But here is the kicker they wanted me to do???? I don’t understand why in the world would i pay $150 for the delivery person to just plug into the line and the fridge! I though the service was to run the line for you. Mind you I have have purchased a fridge that needed a water line at a previous home that I owned. That tech did not have a problem running the line from the basement. DO BETTER BEST BUY, HIRE PEOPLE THAT ARE MORE COMPETENT, WHEN IT COME TO INSTALLING A WATER LINE TO A FRIDGE. This is just crazy!!!!

    Hung in there for about 8 months, then no ice...

    The unit is a good buy. From the bottom freezer to the in-the-door-water container, to ease of use and spaciousness. Good stuff. The ice maker can put out a good amount of ice, but some ice cubes will fall behind the bin and gather in the bottom of the freezer, even to the point where a cube or three will pop out and scoot across the floor when you open the freezer. Today (Memorial Day) we had folks over and the icemaker stopped making ice. And the water in the door was lukewarm. I reset the ice maker, fingers crossed that it makes ice tomorrow. OTHERWISE I would strongly caution any prospective buyer to buy the extended warranty. My unit is still within the 1 year period, but most manufactures take great pains to not honor that. We will see. Final thought: Good fridge if you don't plan to use it too much,

    I was scheduled for an installation today. The initisl schedule was 7 am - 7 pm, with a promise of a call the day before to narrow the window. The only communication confirmed 7 -7, and there was no call today, the day of service. I sat here waiting all day and nobody has shown up. This is the 4th time BB has scheduled this and failed to complete the service. This is not premier service. This isn't even bare minimal service! My repeated calls to speak to a service person yielded only an automated service and confirmation for 7 am - 7 pm. Totally frustrating!

    Salesman needed to ask better questions

    We purchased this service along with our GE French Door refrigerator at the same time. It was suggested that we have a new line run, and we set up an appointment for this service which wouldn't happen until two full weeks after we had the unit installed. When the day came to have the service performed, we were given a time span of approximately 8 hours. We put off any plans we had for that day to be available. We were told that the team would call ahead approximately 30 minutes or more to prepare us. Didn't happen. The deadline came and went without a call and/or any explanation. We finally got a call after the deadline had passed from the team saying that they'd be at our house in approximately 10 minutes. That was our prep call. When they came in, they pulled the refrigerator out and proceeded to tell us they couldn't run the line. No cut off on the end of the line so they couldn't run the line. Of course, we were confused, because we'd payed for this particular service because we needed a new line run, but here they were stating that that isn't what they do. So, after they left, we called Best Buy support for an explanation. We were told that, possibly, the wrong team had been sent out. They wrote up our complaint, and transferred us to support that was specific to appliances. The appliance person directed us to call XFO. We called XFO, and XFO stated that they only have one team, and that team didn't do that. Long story short, we finally figured out that we will need a plumber to come out and install a new line with a cut off. Very frustrating experience. We love Best Buy but this was not a shining moment for these folks. I would say that better questions need to be asked to best assess the situation in the future, and that Best Buy needs a better knowledge of what XFO offers as far as service.

    Refused To Install Fridge

    I purchased the family hub counter depth and waterline kit. The installation was marked free. I had a new waterline prepared for use in the space. When the team arrived (driving an Enterprise truck) they refused to install the fridge, stating they do not connect the waterline. Why would you offer a service that you do not support? My fridge is sitting unplugged because they did not install as promised. Very inconveniencing and violating to accept my money and fail to complete services that you offered me. The Fridge is marked open box but it still had its original packaging. The store manager told me it was going to be a display but they already had one on display, so it it actually brand new. This stressful and pointless. I’ll never shop here again!!

    SoCal delivery issues

    If you live in the San Bernardino mountains, expect their contractors to be difficult to deal with and the service agents may or may not fully understand when there.are problems. After five failed delivery attempts, my sixth attempt with two different appointments set for the same day got my refrigerator hooked up and delivered to the correct location in my house. Reaching out to customer service about the difficulty of getting the appliance, only 2 of the 15 agents I spoke to indicated that I should get something for my incovenience. The last 2 agents I spoke with attempted to veer me away from speaking with a supervisor. I've been a customer with Best Buy for over 20 years and with tens of thousands of purchases during this time. This has been my first time with such a disaster of getting an appliance and I'm surprised how poorly they have responded to this situation. On the last attempt, two different contractors did complete the job despite it being outside the scope of their work order. The first crew got hurt in the middle of moving appliances and had to stop. Luckily a second crew was scheduled and I did have to wait an extra 2 hours for them to get a furniture dolly because they thought it was a water line installation due to agents not understanding the need.
