All in all I’d say this is a good updated adaptation of the original comics. The story is over 20 years old now so I get DC taking a few liberties to keep it relevant in 2019. I don’t want to spoil anything. Chances are if you are reading this review you already know the story. Or do you? Lol. Like I said. A few liberties taken so it’s not exactly like the comics. But still worth watching if you are a dc animation fan

This is a great sequel and conclusion to the original DEATH OF SUPERMAN story. The Blu-ray version offers an excellent presentation of this superbly animated film. It also has great voice acting to boot! Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys the ever-growing DC Animated Universe library... as I do! Up, up and away!

This is an updated take on the Reign of the Supermen storyline from DC comics. There was a "Death of Superman" animated film called Superman: Doomsday which was interesting, but skipped the Reign storyline in favor of something a little less far-reaching. This version still re-invents the Reign storyline, but still deviates from that storyline a bit. Still, a good watch (after you've seen Death of Superman".

I own the original death of Superman Omnibus and this is a pretty spot-on replica. Minus the fact that the cover has been changed and the Blu-ray slots have been added to the last page. But nonetheless it's a storefantastic item to have. this is by far the best way to catch up on the original comic contents then enjoy the movie.

I enjoyed this movie very much. I wasn't sure going in if I would enjoy it, seeing that there were so many Supermen that I never really heard of, but I went in with an open mind and enjoyed it very much. I thought the ending was satisfying and definitely stay for the after credits because it seems to set up the next film. keep in mind this is part 2 of a continuation from the first movie death of Superman.

Great combo for all Superman devotees! Re-read the graphic novel - The Death of Superman - while watching the movie of the Reign of the Superman. In the wake of the Death of Superman comes four Super Heroes: Eradicator, Superboy, Steel and Cyborg Superman. Each battling to become the reincarnation of Superman. Great ending!

I really like this movie but they need to stop making jokes about the Teen Titans they are a great team and they deserve respect the one before this also made fun of the Titans their needs to be a third Teen Titans movie but aside from that grip the movie when watched after Death of Superman is an thrilling movie that reminds people how awesome Superman can be when treated with respect and care.

Good movie that honors the history of Superman at that time, different enough from the source material to still surprise readers of the original comic story. A little light on extras, though it does have a good documentary on Lex L:uthor. Only recommended if you saw the first film in order to grasp the full context.

Definitely nice to include the novel version. I read the comics like 8 years ago and was so excited to see it become an animated movie! This is part two if anyone is shopping for someone. The first movie to this is "The Death of Superman" and I always buy from Best Buy because they come with neat stuff with the movies.

So this is awesome! Coming with the novel it really gives everyone the chance to see what happened before these events. The story is a little changed, as is usual, but its still a great story. I also really hope to see steel and super boy used in later animated films. All in all worth the price if you're a comics fan.

This follows Death of Superman and in his absence 4 Supermen have appeared to carry his mantle. Each has their own motives, backgrounds and secrets. Great action and impressively compresses a long story into a fairly comprehensive plot without being overlong or short on what made the story so good before.

This was a great followup to the death of superman movie. Although compared to the comic book stories they both felt a little rushed and kind of out of place. If you've never read the stories then you won't have any quibbles at all. It's very good and very well done and right on story. Looks great in 4k too!

This was a great movie. It's sad how they make the cartoon do much more interesting than they do the movie. Like seriously man can we stop with the Lex Luthor BS and move on to better enemies that superman has. U think I can even direct better superman movie as I'm a big fan. This movie was great tho!

DC"s live action universe has been up and down, but for the most part they have done an excellent job with their animated films. Reign of the Supermen is a solid conclusion to last year's Death of Superman, both were slightly different from the iconic comics that they were based on, but excellent nonetheless.

This movie may not follow the source material closely, but that’s ok. It still entertains and provides a satisfying conclusion to the previous movies. The A/V quality of the 4K disc is good, slightly better than the blu-ray but nothing too drastic. And the graphic novel is a nice addition.

This is a fantastic movie. I enjoy most of the DC animated movies, but some are definitely better others. Reign of the Supermen is one of the better ones. I really loved it. I would recommend this movie to anyone who even thinks that they might want to see it. Buy it, it is a must see movie.

Another strong effort from the people @ WB/DC Comics direct to DVD line of movies. I own them ALL! This is obviously the part 2 follow to last fall's Death Of Superman "reboot". The story deviates considerably from the story told in the comics so many years ago but, was very entertaining just the same! Enjoyed the appearance of the Justice League at the end!

I never read the comic books but I knew the impact the Death of Superman had on culture. This movie provided us non comic book readers some insight and understanding about the Supermen and how they came to be. I do wish I was into comics back when I was younger. Better late than never.

Good, but could be better. I know they needed to update and edit it from the original comic, but at least it was way better than the first Superman:Doomsday dvd. Too much change/editing on Doomsday forced them to eventually create and release an updated version in later years. Still waiting for the Superman: Red Son to be done...

Reign of the Supermen, is not a direct adaptation of the comic books, but it was still enjoyable. I just wish they adapted it sooner. The only negative thing I can say is that it seemed to cram a whole lot in a short run time. They did a good job, just seemed a little rushed and that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
