Not very loud and and disappointing. I can hardly hear the bass coming from the HT-1510. I have to turn the volume up all the way to get any bass. Yes, the bass tones are good and it does blend in with the speakers. This unit will not shake your windows or have any loud bass. I would not recommend this for a Multimedia set-up as you do not get dynamic bass. I wish this sub-woofer had more power and punch to it. I do not recommend it and will be returning it. Also, it is really heavy. My older smaller 400 watt Martin Logan has way more bass than this unit. I think this unit only has 100 watts of power as that is all it seem to put out.

This sub would be 5 stars if it wasn't for one FATAL FLAW!!! When the sub turns on and there is no audio playing, you can hear an audible buzz/hum that's loud enough to hear from many feet away. This is totally unacceptable from a $2,000 unit; something I would accept from a cheap $200 unit maybe.
