I absolutely love my new remote start system on my car. I pretty much use it every single day. Especially now that it's hotter in California. I just set my AC before I get out of the car and remote started from my house in the morning so by the time I get into the car it's already cool down.

Ordered this to allow electronic locking/unlocking of the vehicle. My key fobs had gone bad on my Cadillac, and the cost to replace roughly equaled the purchase price of this remote start unit. An obvious no-brain required decision. The system works exactly as described, and will come in very handy during the Midwest's notorious brutal winter.

Product works great. I would be cautious with the salesperson. If your looking for just an alarm just purchase the alarm. If your looking for a car starter and alarm they are two separate purchases. The particular sales person I dealt with was not very knowledgeable. I ended up having to have two installs instead of 1. The product is great!

The remote starter is simple to use and very reliable

The tech did a nice job and was done sooner then he anticipated. I had a remote start installed and he explained to me how to work it and it all seems fine. The shop could be cleaned up some and organized to look more presentable to the public. The techs were very friendly though.

The install of my 2 way remote start got off to rough start. After product was found at the service desk everything went smooth as planned. Technician said that it would take 3 hrs and it took exactly 3 hrs. Very neat and professional installation. Thinking about getting back up camera next.

I cannot say enough about this starter. The distance and ease of using is awesome! We had it installed at Best Buy. Isaac in that department is wonderful to work with. He does an excellent job and the job is always done right! I am wondering what I did without this starter before I got this one!

Installers at the Mt Laurel, NJ location installed a compustar remote start on my Ford Fusion. I was taken promptly at my scheduled time. Clean, neat install completed by the promised time. Installer took the time to explain the operation of the remote start. Very pleased!

In 2014 or so, Joe P at Best Buy Remote Starter/Car Stereo Installations installed a Viper remote starter into my Corolla. It worked perfectly for years. Jump ahead to 2018, and I have Joe remove it from the Corolla and install it into my Camry. Now, most people are not that impressive to me, but Joe quite certainly is. He truly knows his products up and down, and if he doesn't know something, he knows how to get the answer. He is quite frankly the type of person I would hire in a second if I needed a real good dedicated and humble person who I could count on. I am very impressed with Joe's work, work ethic and quality of work. I know this review sounds like a letter of recommendation, but it's well earned. I do not say this lightly. I am a repairman myself and have owned my own business for 41 years. I know a good person when I see one. Best Buy is lucky to have Joe. If you need something installed in your car, Joe is da man!

The upgraded remote seems to make all the difference because unlike some other reviewers I can start my car inside the house on the opposite side. Only thing that is not great is the noises the remote makes when it it’s on, if you’re in a place that you have to be quite like the movies

This is the 4th vehicle we've had Geek Squad install remote start on. Every time, perfect service and works great. We had a problem once (not BB's fault, another mechanic messed up an anti-theft sensor). But Geek Squad found the issue and fixed for free.

nothing magic happens its just car starter it will start when u press it of course for me every car starter are the same i bought this because it’s cheaper at that time plus free installation if u see a cheaper one just get it as long as it has a lifetime warranty

Got a viper alarm system installed at Atwater village/ Glendale BB by Donovan. Pretty cool guy, seems to be very knowledgeable at what he does. He finished sooner than expected which is good. Alarm is working fine. Happy with my Install

I got a great deal on this remote starter. It seemed to be a basic model which is what I needed. Only complaints are minor and are likely safety precautions or features of my car are that the car turns off when I open the door and the seat warmers don't start to heat up until I get in the car. Otherwise, it was a great purchase.
