Of course, with a 1 amp output I wasn't expecting a whole lot - I purchased the solar panel more for fun than anything else. It has to be in absolute direct sunlight to charge though. I have mine set up in a window, charging a 20,000 mAh battery pack. When my phone is low on juice, I plug into the battery pack and can get an instant charge with or without sunlight. I haven't drained the battery pack yet, so in not sure how long it would take to charge. But in direct sunlight, it took about 20 minutes to charge an iPhone 8 about 5%.

This is perfect for people who work out in the sun. Soccer coaches and parents who are phone active while attending. Really makes it easy to recharge after filming games. Perfect for poolside recharges as well.

After charging on a window in the sun (with the suction cup that comes with it), it only charges to 80%. Repeated time in the sun does not increase to charge level. But 80% still goes a long while so the rating is still 4 stars.

Package was damaged when I got it. Dent in panel does not seem to effect it. Works for my needs which are lite.

I recently bought this thinking on my trip to Puerto Rico I always carry my backpack with me every-time we go on vacations so I thought about hanging this from my backpack and use it as emergency charger in case I ran out of battery while we were out visiting the island .. very useful

That's what our teenagers said. The suction cups will work to hang it on the back seat window..where it might provide some shade for the person on back while charging their phone?

Use for one phone do is job but some time need more time to take charge

I searched on Best Buy.com for an iPhone solar charger and this one popped up. It does not work with an iPhone

I keep this panel in my window and I disconnect the battery and take it with me in the car. It works with my iPad , iPhone 7 and my kid’s iPhone 5. It took less than an hour and a half to charge the iPhone 5 from 12% to 100%. The suction cups are a great idea. I used them to stick the panel to a south facing window and it hasn’t budged. It seems pretty rugged too so far. I liked this panel/ battery combo so much I ordered a second one which I plan to use exclusively in the car. I’ll stick it on the rear side window to charge the battery and provide a little shade for my kid on long rides. It also includes carabiner clips which I will try out on my backpack during bike rides. Based on my experience so far, I highly recommend it,
