Great musical. My wife prefers this cast over others. She’s happy to have it to watch anytime

I can't say enough good things about this flick. I've always wanted it. Now it's mine. The subtitle selection does turn off after turning it on while watching, but that's a minor hiccup during this wonderful experience.

Have been getting my teen daughter to watch all my favorite musicals and usually purchase a different one for birthdays, Christmas, etc to build up our library. She really loved this movie and the amazing cast. Music is awesome and memorable!! Must see!

GREAT MOVIE FOR ITS TIME. VERY FEW MUSICALS PUT OUT IN THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS. I WAS LIKE 5 WHEN THE SOUND OF MUSIC CAME OUT, AND CHITTY-CHITTY BANG BANG.

This is a great movie. I never got to see the Broadway play but this is as close as you can get. I love the actors and all the songs and story.

I can watch this movie over and over again. I had the DVD and now I bought the blue-ray version after I purchased a blue-ray player. One of the greatest movies ever.

I purchased this musical for my sister and she loves it. We have already watched it several times since Christmas.

I enjoyed the movie VERY much. It was a replacement for a copy that we purchased previously and wore out.

Songs are forgettable and the characters are all freaky weirdos. But hey, the wife liked it so there's that.

I BROUGHT RENT ON A SPUR OF THE MOMENT THING. I LOVE MUSICALS, BUT I NEVER HEARD OF RENT BEFORE, AND I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THE REALNESS, AND THE EMOTION IN THE SONGS AND THE CHARACTERS. I WATCHED THIS MOVIES SO MANY TIMES, I CAN SING EVERY SONG IN ORDER FROM BEGINNING TO END, I OWN THE SOUNDTRACK. I LOVE RENT!!!!!!!!! NO DAY BUT TODAY!!! YOU NEED TO GET THIS MOVIE.

I had always heard of RENT and wished I could see it on Broadway. I absolutely fell in love with this movie. The music is incredible and the actors are great. Of course, all but 2 are from the original Broadway cast. I recently got to see the stage show and was pleasantly surprised to see that Christopher Columbus stayed so true to the play. I have to say that I miss Mimi singing "Goodbye My Love" in the movie, but am glad can still see it on the deleted scenes. That part made me cry in the play. I wish it would have stayed in the movie. But other than that....this movie rocks!!
