This is a good CD. Slayer has been around a long time and they always do a good job. They do have better stuff.

I really enjoyed the album. This has been one of my favorite bands since the 80's. Yes, the lineup is not quite the same without Jeff Hanneman but Gary Holt does an admirable job. Some of there more recent albums have a lot of hit and miss tracks. This one I feel has about 10 really strong tracks out of 12.

Yes, that's it. Slayer is always a clear shot. The new album is a great achieve and the special edition with Wacken concert on bluray is a must have.

It's probably a good thing Slayer is retiring because while they've had many "good enough" albums they haven't had a truly great album since Divine Intervention. This one is okay though.

I already had this with the DVD but upgraded to the blu ray version. AWESOME CONCERT sound and video quality is top notch.

so I usually don't like hearing songs I'm unfamiliar with live first but when I saw slayer a live a couple weeks ago and they played stuff from this new album I was stoked cant wait for this to blow my ear drums plus the blue ray its a must have I havnt seen it cheaper than what best buy has advertised. Are You Ready

This is definitely the best of the Bostaph-era Slayer records. It doesn't stand up with their best, but given everything they've been through I think it's perfectly fine as a statement informing us that Slayer aren't dead. The next one, I'm sure, will be even better. The Blu-Ray is well worth the upgrade too. Full concert from Wacken 2014 plus a cool making-of documentary.
