Original one cracked and leaked water all over But it was 3 years old. I believe it's recommend by the manufacturer to be replaced each year but it still shouldn't crack! Replacement works perfectly. Overall I think it's a system that can be improved upon.

The water filter came a week late but it was due to weather conditions. Also the box the filter was in was in terrible shape and dirty but the item itself looked in good shape.

Biggest problem with the filters when they get older, is that the flow slows down tremendously. That slowdown starts after about 3 months, and becomes irritating at about 8 months. So a biannual replacement becomes almost a necessity. Just wish they sold them in a multipack.

Original manufacturer filter at a reasonable price. Ordering was straight forward and delivery was prompt.
