Great movie....remember seeing this on TV in the 80’s - picture quality then was awful. However, they’ve done a great job cleaning up the picture and sound on this version. Intense!

I grew up in England and was a Alex Cox fan for his docs on film making, when I was 14 I saw this film and my mind was blown. HDS at his best and Emilio was just cool at this time. a must see cult film for fringe fans.

The movie is pretty good science fiction movie. Not for everyone as the movie doesn’t give much origion story or the ending doesn’t explain everything. But if you have an open mind, just enjoy it for what it is.

Criterion did an amazing job with the packaging and restoration of Repo Man. The film itself is a bizarre commentary on American consumerism in the 80s, and it still resonates today. The punk vibes and alien side make it an interesting cult classic.

    Guilty pleasure sci-fi comedy 1984

A take it or leave it sci-fi comedy of 1984 that depicts Charlie Sheen's brother, Emilio Estevez , as a punker turned "devil may care" car repossessor who with a group co-worker slobs tries to relocate a car with aliens stashed in the back wanted by the Feds. Choppy cut scenes, car chases, a bit smarter than 'Dude, Where is My Car ?' Good flick for 80's lovers or anybody if you can look over the cheesy special effects. Lots of silliness, but potentially bland for little kids.

    Awesome Movie and Nice Transfer

The blu ray of this movie was done quite well. They took it from the original film and enhanced each frame. A cult classic. Only issue I had is that the collectors was supposed to come with a soundtrack from what I read online. It doesn't but it does come with a booklet that's neat. A must buy.

One of the best movies out of the 80's that most of your friends haven't seen.Make no mistake this is an original with Emilio Estevez in his best role and a superb performance by Harry Dean Stanton. Do yourself a favor and buy this movie you'll be plesantly suprised, just take it for what it is a weird, cooky flick.

    Great classic 80's movie

This is one of my favorite classic 80's movies I watched growing up. The plot is mostly ridiculous, the acting is not Oscar worthy, but it's funny and has a fantastic soundtrack. If you like quirky movies like Better off Dead, Caddy Shack, Goonies, or Meatballs, then this is another movie to add to you collection.
