Requiem for a Dream needs to be approached as not a piece of well made entertainment (which it is) but as a reminder of how fast/far we all can fall. Many don't need or want that kind of downer in HD, but its beautiful and heartbreaking and here it is and it's cheap, so SCORE!

5 start film with an awesome collectors edition steelbook! The 4K is upgrade over the standard Blu-ray and the Atmos track is absolutely amazing for the haunting score! Highly recommend

Darren Aronofsky’s mind dissolving thriller backed by Clint Mansell’s daring score, puts 4 people in this 4k restored film of pulling all strings to be something, no matter the cost. It’s extremely cruel.

Already owned this film on blu ray and decided to check it out on 4k and very glad I did. Well worth the upgrade. Great improvements on picture and sound quality. A must see film.

I remember seeing this movie when it first came out and even seeing it in 4k still gives me chills. I recommend this film for people who are interested in the world of addition and see it all spiral out of control.

Unforgettable follow up to Pi. Darren Aronofsky crafts a story so intense, you will never forget it. It is a well directed, acted, edited and just plain, a well made film. Not for the faint of heart though.

This movie is a grim portrayal of drug addiction. The story centers around several people who all have interpersonal relations with each other, but each of them are dealing with their own demons and their own addictions. The film shows how each person succumbs to their addiction, and the high personal price they pay for their addiction. This is not an uplifting movie. Interestingly, this movie has a seven channel audio track, which is put to good use in the movie with sound effects.

A disturbing journey of an addicted group of friends. Really a stark look at the depravity that one will go to for their next score. New video transfer is amazing.

Been waiting for this to come out as a steelbook and in 4k. Amazing movie. Now just gotta figure out what to do with regular bluray that I currently own as well.

Cinematic masterpiece in beautiful 4K. Sound is more jarring in the best of ways than the original release. Superb performances by Oscar winners Leto and Burstyn. Must buy not for the faint hearted.

Absolutely love this movie, and in 4K, it's even better! Mastered in ultra HD with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos makes this release the ULTIMATE collector's edition of this incredible and amazing film!

This movie is really good. It really shows how a whole group of people’s lives spiral downward because of substance abuse. It’s not the type of movie for everyone, especially with such deep themes but it’s definitely worth a watch to see how each character regresses over time.

Fantastic, powerful film, beautifully remastered in 4K for its 20th anniversary. Video quality is spectacular, and the Dolby Atmos soundtrack is amazing, making great use of all the surround channels.

This movie really changed the way I viewed drugs. I’m glad I walked into it not knowing much about it. Definitely a must watch but I don’t know if I’ll be seeing it again anytime soon.

Lionsgate knocked it out of the park with this beautiful yet affordable 4K UHD SteelBook. I wish all companies would go to this effort for collectibles

A great movie, a bit too deep but still great along with performances by everyone involved. Lionsgate once again keeps knocking it out with these Steelbooks.

One of my favorite steelbooks due to the artwork. If you like the movie and you like quality cases woth cool artwork, this is for you.

This is a very different movie, most of you have probably already seen it if you are looking at buying the 4k version. if you have 4k capability, this is a great movie to buy in 4k!

I watched this when I was 14 and vowed to never do drugs. Should be mandatory for high schoolers instead of some assembly where "cool" rappers come to rap about how drugs are wiggity wack!

4K disc on this one is a not a dramatic increase in quality from previous blu-ray versions but if you enjoy this movie it still is a must have especially at some of the recent sale prices.
